I went in for a routine cleaning. Dr. Andrew Smith examined me and performed my cleaning. He was patient with my questions and listened closely to my concerns. I requested alternative cleaning methods to minimize chemical exposures and they were very accommodating. The office is very clean, smells pleasant and is well decorated and maintained. The front staff gave me a warm and personable greeting when I arrived. The biggest deal for me was that I didn’t feel like I was being «up-​sold» for any unnecessary treatments as I have always been in the past, elsewhere. Dr. Smith offered me information to consider for my future treatment plan and was agreeable and respectful of my wishes on what to wait on doing. He had great advice and was knowledgeable about what he spotted in my imaging. I like it when I walk away feeling educated rather than lectured and warned. I have lived in the area 16 years and have driven by this location but until now, had not become a patient. Dental offices are popping up like weeds on every corner, but thru the years this one has stayed long standing and that is indicative to me that they are a quality dentist. I now know that for sure now that I am patient.

My family and I have been coming to McDonald Dental since I was a kid! My sisters and I would always compete with each other to see who would make the No Cavity Club.
I am now 24 years young and they still take care of my pearly whites — not only on the surface but also where they are not on constant display!
The hygienists are gentle and friendly, which makes the patient feel at ease while getting services taken care of. This dentists office seriously has it all. With a friendly and welcoming staff and reliable dentists you simply cannot go wrong choosing McDonald dental.
Since I was a little girl I’ve always received compliments on my smile — I really think I owe that to my dentist :)

First let me say that I was super terrified because like some of us, I hadn’t been to the dentist in so many years. Immediately going in, the staff could detect my nervousness and did everything they could to remind me that I would be ok, and I was! Everyone was super nice and I relaxed eventually. After all was said and done, I am ready to follow the plan to good dental hygiene and wellness and looking forward to being a regular patient here. If you’ve been putting off seeing the dentist for whatever reason, I encourage you to make that first step and call McDonald Dental, you will not regret it!

Dr. McDonald was so nice. His staff is great and they really make you feel comfortable. My 10 year old who is apprehensive when it comes to the dentist said that the dentist made her feel very comfortable and she wasn’t nervous at all. I would definitely recommend McDonald dental!

First time coming here, got the x ray for free, basic clean for my teeth, she took her time and the dentist was so kind, come to check on me for 2 times, pay 76 $ for 1 and a half hour cleaning was so good, i wish she was smile more to me

Let me start by saying, I hate going to the dentist. But I can’t say enough amazing things about this business. I actually look forward to walking through the door, grabbing a treat from their complimentary bar and catching up with the front office. The staff is incredibly caring and professional and the doctors are personal, honest, and wise. They get you set up with a plan too if you need multiple items done and help you prioritize the work that needs to be completed. I’ve been going to this dentist for two years and I’ve brought my little ones with me from time to time because I don’t have family in town, the sitter is in school, and they usually napped anyway. Well my most recent visit my 5 month old became fussy and the office actually took the time to care for her and entertain her and they stepped away to allow me to nurse her when she wasn’t calming down. They were SO nice about it! They care about your family, not just your teeth and I’ve found that to be incredibly encouraging with having two under two.

I thought I would try McDonald Dental for a second opinion after another dental clinic told me I needed a deep cleaning and had 5 cavities which was quite scary (and expensive). I am extremely scared of dental visits so I almost called to cancel, glad I didn’t because the staff did an excellent job working with my anxiety and informing me that all the work the other dentist told me I needed was not necessary. I only needed a regular cleaning and had 2 surface cavities! I’m not excited about the 2 cavities of course, but its not even half of the dental work the other clinic quoted me. Thank you for looking out for the health of my teeth!

I’ve had my share of dentists, and this place is definitely my favorite! Drs. McDonald and Chiu are both extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the dental hygienists are all so sweet.
They have a new patient special where you get a free exam and radiographs etc, which is really nice. They even gave me a fleece blanket after my first visit! :D
