This is the worst doctor office that I have ever been too.
I moved to Houston to establish a primary care doctor. When I went for my annual blood work that I do. The doctor asked if I had allergies (I went back in October) and I told her «yes», but I always have allergies and I have a deviated septum. She looked up my nostrils for a second or two and when I went to pay she charged me $ 75 for examining allergies. I paid it and without complaining bc I had to get to work.
On my second visit to go over my blood, I told her I was worried bc I’ve been sluggish lately and wanted to determine if I had any vitamin deficiencies in my blood. When I went to pay she charged me for this. This conversation lasted all less than 30 seconds and the whole visit took less than 5 mins and charged me $ 150. Please keep in mind I have 100% preventative insurance coverage.
This place is a scam and it’s unfortunate that places in this field can get a way with things like this.
The accounting manager is unprofessional and the doctors are crooks. I strongly suggest not to come here. I’m going through a denial of a claim with Blue Cross and I’m suggesting that they remove this doctor off of there preferred plan. I’m also reporting a complaint with Joint commission office.
I hope this office reads this review and changes the way they practice medicine.

It’s a shame Unilocal doesnt let you give a 0 star because that is what this place deserves! I came in the morning and the front desk rescheduled my appointment to the afternoon. I asked her if I would be seen on the time I was scheduled for or there would be any wait. And they said there would be no wait. Came back in the afternoon and they said the doctor couldn’t see me for another 40mins. Once I finally got to see the doctor, she literally spent 5 mins with me. I was trying to explain how sick I was and she didn’t care. She didn’t give me any consultation on anything. All she did was rushing to see another patient.
This is horrifying how these apathetic people could work in an industry that saves lives.

Very disappointed and terrible service!!! They make you an appointment at the same time with other 10 patients, appointment at 8:30am and have to wait 1hour or 1 ½ hour for a room to be available and then continue to wait another 1hr or 30 minutes just to get seen! You’re treated as candle not as a patient! They draw labs and you have to be calling them to see if they’re ready because they won’t call you to let you know they ready. PS parking just as horrible as the service, feel bad for the elderly that has to park there. TIME TO FIND A NEW MD!

I had an absolutely Horrible experience with Doctor Duane Duarte. It was so bad that I will be calling my insurance company about it. He does not listen, or at least he did not listen to me or my husband. The nurses there are very nice but for complex things, don’t go there. He made me feel really small being diabetic. He also did not listen when I explained about my 15 years of being diabetic. If it’s just for a cold or the flu, I’m sure he would be fine. The place looks like it would be great for that. He is not good for being understanding to major or even unknown conditions. Having a doctor is about trust, and knowing that when you take a medicine and you exhibit side effects, they will listen to you. This one will not.

I was referred here from a coworker when I was in need of a good general practice for a cold that I couldnt get rid of. The spoke very highly of the clinic, and they were able to get me in that day.
It is a brand new free standing building on Navigation right by Ninfas. The building and office itself are very nice. When I checked in they handed me a tablet like device, and I was able to do all my medical history and insurance information on this tablet. It even verifies your insurance and you can pay with credit card on the tablet. Very efficient and seriously beats a clipboard and pen.
I was seen very quickly, and Dr. Sonya Moncayo was so nice and a pleasure to see. They not only got me my prescriptions, they gave me an injection to get me a kickstart on my recovery, and I was honestly feeling much better within an hour of leaving the clinic.
I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a good general practice office.
