Ever since its creation, Nerd Squad Academy has heavily invested in curriculum development for its academic and test preparatory programs. Nerd Squad Academy was founded on a simple idea: strengthening knowledge, one student at a time.

With that goal in mind, co-​founder Dr. Cyrus Abbasi made it his priority to create an alternate to impersonal learning centers. His focus is to provide exceptional one-​on-​one academic and test preparatory services to families who seek the utmost level of learning quality and convenience for their children. His primary goal is to nurture young minds by boosting their confidence and providing them with the necessary techniques and tests to help them to transform into intellectually strong-​minded individuals.

While obtaining a BS in Civil engineering and a PhD in Mechanical engineering, he soon came to realize that many of his peers lacked the learning capabilities that he had. Thus, he started to lead study sessions and applied his own learning techniques in order to bring the same joy of knowledge to his fellow peers.
