Out of all the serveries on campus, north servery is analogous to that really reliable friend who’s consistent and not ever too extreme. It’s forever a solid choice as there are always alternative options like pizza/​pasta or burger stations, when the chefs get too adventurous. Definitely not the absolute best servery but even more so not the absolute worse. It’s just reliable where I can go and ensure that I will be fed an adequate amount.
Things I will boast about without any reservation though are that tofu is always a winner with the many ways they prepare it for the vegetarian diner, that salmon never disappoints where many have been caught piling it onto their plate, and that desserts here are always 5-​star quality.
More days rather than not, you will find me at north servery!

How can I even begin to describe the transcendent majesties of North Servery @ Rice University?
With amazing personalities like Esteban and Burger Man, and the sheer determination of Breakfast Servery Swiper Lady, the service is top notch!
The variety and luscious odors stimulate my eager expectations of casual dining ambiance. The long lines when they only have one station open when dinner begins only builds camaraderie with my fellow Rice classmates.
Nothing sums up North Servery quite like the Fried Rice that has more oil than Saudi Arabia and more salt than Seahawks fans after this past Super Bowl. Yet, the zany chicken tenders, rich pizza, stupendous salmon, and sublime chicken and waffles excite me. 10⁄10 would eat here for every meal, except for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast!
