Business Owner

Paula Fridkin studied theater in college, but she never would have scripted a career that placed her in the role of entrepreneur.

After a 15-​year stint in radio and television and the fine arts, she now stars as the lead in a jewelry and accessory business she started in 1989 in her attic as Paula Fridkin Designs. She has combined her interest in making jewelry with her ambition to sell her creations to add up to a business opportunity. Over the years, Paula has enjoyed mentoring aspiring jewelry designers in her home workshop and is very proud to feature other local Houston jewelry designers. She has hosted and contributed to fundraising events for HITS Children’s Theatre and School of the Woods, and has teamed up with charity organizations like Dress for Success.
