I had a bit of a rough start with one of the employees but the Manager took over and handled it like a pro! Karl was very communicative and really took care of me. I’ve been here twice now and both times I’ve received good work (there were only minor unforeseen tweaks). In this day and age its hard to find mechanics you trust but I’m sold!

This place is awful. Do not go here to repair your car.
Run away NOW if you’re considering it.
Manuela from Penske is highly unprofessional and does not provide decent customer service. She is unreliable and undependable. The communication is terrible. I never got an update on my car for over a month. I had to initiate each time we talked. Overall she had a bad attitude.
My car was here over a month to repair a fender bender. This is unacceptable!
If you commit to something, you do it. Penske does not. They overpromise and under deliver. They do not care what happens to your car or to you. They only care if they get paid.
I was told someone would pick me up to get my car at 10 am. I even called at 930 to make sure he was coming. He did not have a gps or a phone (who doesn’t have this in 2015?) so I had to wait outside. He got lost and came at 1115. He claimed to be waiting in front of my house — but how could he when I was in front, waiting? I had an appointment at 1130 so had to call to delay my appointment. They need to give this guy a gps and a phone! And the car had no air conditioning. No air conditioning!!! It is a summer day in houston! This is not acceptable.
I waited over an hour for someone to pick me up and then my car had issues as I drove away from the shop. All the warning lights were on (pic) and the stereo had an error (pic). I didn’t know about this until I drove away. They didn’t even inform me of these issues when I picked up the car.
They didn’t have my key. They asked my for my spare to have.
The only redeeming factor was Karl who helped as this got out of hand. Also Juan is helpful. He helped me reset the stereo code. I am so thankful for them.
Stay away if you can. These people don’t know what they are doing. They are unorganized, unreliable, and fail to do the job.

My Brand new Honda Civic si 2014 suffered a small but significant damaged on the passenger left side fender. I brought my car to Penske Collision Center because they are DIRECT REPAIR PARTNERS with HONDA on September 8,2014. So, I was very certain that they would do an excellent professional job since they are a Honda Direct Repair Partner.
However, things started to get ugly when they first delivered my vehicle with 4 different additional flaws that I discover as I washed my car on a Sunday morning. The so-​call «I-​CAR & ASE Certified Body Shop Technicians did NOT live up to my expectations.
Causing those additional 4 flaws on my new vehicle, they made me go back so they can repair it. However, as I was showing the flaws they caused, Ruben Salas (My Estimator) was not very professional as I was pointed out the flaws that I found. There was a fading spot on the left passenger door. He suggested that I caused that or that the car came like that. What a stupid ass suggestion he made. I mean, is this guy a dumb ass or what? And then, he started to argue with me and not helping at all, which only escalated to more arguing and piss me off even more. So I told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor.
Mr. Karl Koudelka’s approach was more professional and he talked nice. He offered me a rental car and offered to repair those flaws. I told him that he needed to educate his employee (Ruben Salas). Not a good way of approaching a customer. Later, his suggestions was ridiculous as well.
So, third time came and still my car was not repair properly. The left fender headlight was not level evenly. It was like pushed it and the fender seemed to be loose whenever I pushed it and out. Tired of being there 3 different times, I contacted Mr. Bob Lang, who is the General Manager. He wrote me back with an email but didn’t do pretty much NOTHING. However, he apologized and offer to take it back. I contacted the BBB but they didn’t answer since they are NOT a BBB Accredited.
I asked myself how these so-​call I-​Car & ASE Certified Technicians could NOT fix something so simple as a left fender on a vehicle? These people need to go back to school and learn more about cars. I was and still am so disappointed of this body shop company.
Last time I was there, they tried to fix that flaw with the left headlight and they seemed to did it this time. After 3 attempts. Anyway, I went with my dad and it seemed that they fixed it right. However, the problem stills there. I guess whenever I put my car’s full nose mask on, it seemed to move it and dis level again. So, I paid $ 1,000 and they didn’t do a professional job. Hell, having still that problem on my car, I don’t want to even dare to take it back to this people. If I do, I wonder what other damages they would cause by trying to fix this little simple repair. So, I’d rather take care of myself and take it some where else where it will be truly fix properly and professionally.
I completely regret bringing my car here. Makes me not wanting to trust any body shop anymore. I can’t believe they couldn’t repair something so simple. I will NOT do business with this company. I have told many of my friends or Honda’s car drivers friends not to come here. Not competent enough to repair something so simple.

Hi All. I didn’t know if I could trust this body shop. David is the guy to be lucky enough to get here! He is passionate about his job and took care of me. backed me up with all my concerns and in getting my car back the way I wanted it. He fought with the insurance company to get me an additional supplemental repair. I am grateful. He also communicated with honesty and I feel I can trust this place with my repairs the next time I am in an accident. It is a convenient location off the I-​10 feeder.

While parked at a grocery store, I came back to find some scratches on my bumper from what looked like a shopping cart. After applying some touch-​up paint and clear coat, there was still a rough surface, and I brought my car in to have it buffed and polished. I was originally quoted a small amount for the job by Manuella, and after she talked to one of the technicians, it was repaired in 10 minutes and for free! The job was well done and the results were great. I will definitely come back any time I need body work done.

I was referred to Penske Collision Center through my insurance company as a preferred vendor and my experience was great. The shop is clean and the staff was very pleasant. My car was repaired and looked great. Also, my original pick up date was delayed by a day but they really made up for it by presenting my car looking like it was brand new. I would use them again.

Ask for Karl if you can cause that guy is legit! Overall though, had a great experience here, good customer service and good work quality. Karl is the man here though, as he will treat you fairily, and go the extra mile to make sure that all your issues/​fears with the car repairs are properly addressed! That, and everyone here does seem willing to work with you to fit the repairs within your budget if at all possible. Will be bringing my car here for all future repairs!
