Ronnie is an absolute delight to work with. His barber shop is way ahead of it’s time. Prime Example offers an appointment based service.

I used to live 20 mins away from the shop, now I live in the Galleria area 25 miles away. I made the mistake and visited another barber shop. I paid the price (bad cut for a high price), the service was subpar. First I entered a shop filled with people, I had no idea who was waiting for a haircut and who was just there for chit chat. After a 37 minute wait, I was finally seated. The barber ignored me during the whole duration of the haircut. He was talking with one of his friends who had been there before me but hadn’t received a haircut. I was thoroughly disappointed by the shop and decided to return to Prime Example, even though it’s 40 mins away from my house. Best decision I’ve ever made!
The best part is that I get to schedule my appointment ahead of time and when I show up I’m taken care of right away. Ronnie is a great conversationalist, he can talk about almost any subject from football to fiscal policies. I’ve never been bored while at his shop. I’m usually in and out in less than 20 minutes. You ought to try the shampoo option at the end of your cut. Ronnie shampoo’s and rinses your hair after your cut. Shampooing your hair is best right after your haircut, it allows the shampoo to protect the roots of your hair, the added benefit is that you don’t need to rush home to take a shower.
