Project Autism grew out of a passion to provide assistance, support, and education to families and professionals affected by and/or affiliated with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).
Project Autism ‘s main focus is to be a «one-stop shop» for families and professionals in the Greater Houston Area, offering a listing of local and national resources, blogs, a calendar of upcoming local events, free training materials, and much more! We are all about you and how we can best provide relevant, applicable information to you on how to effectively assist individuals with ASDs
History
Established in 2012.
Project Autism is currently a web-based, nonprofit, organization providing resources to families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders, In 2014, the organization will expand it’s programming to feature trainings, community events, volunteer opportunities and a ‘For Autism, By Autism’ store to raise funds for those with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Michael C.
Business Owner
Michael Conteh has been working with special needs children in in-home and clinical settings for over 10 years. Early in his career, he worked as a direct staff member at a residential facility, working with children and young adults with severe emotional and behavioral challenges. He has had the opportunity to work with children ranging from 18 months to 22 years old, including many children on the Autism Spectrum (including Asperger Syndrome), and children with ADHD or Down Syndrome.
