It’s hard to get excited about the every-​day things you have to get, like gas. This station is across from the Bear Creek Golf Course, almost always has low prices, and is fairly clean and efficient. There are lots of pumps, so you never have to circle around, trying to find a pump. Inside, there are the usual cold drinks, snacks, bathroom, small deli, LottoTexas vending machine, etc. I believe some Indian guys run the store, and they’re polite, efficient. Cheap gas, clean station — it’s a winner!

This gas station is consistently the cheapest place for gas, and you can confirm it with the gas buddy app. They do not accept American Express.

This is the last cheap gas station you’ll hit before heading towards I-​10. For those who live in Cypress, you know what I’m talking about.
Right off of Hwy 6 and Pine Forest, Raceway will be your best bet when filling up on gas. And cheap. Usually when I leave the Cypress area and start heading East towards I-​10, I’ll stop by to fill up at least half a tank, because we all know that once we leave the suburbs, you will be entering a city full of expensive gas.
Ever since the construction workers built a wall off of Hwy 6, going towards I-​10, it’s been difficult to make a u-​turn. Now you can only make it a certain stops and if you’re in need of gas, Raceway would be your best bet.
