It’s like being transported back in time by art. When you walk by Retro Gallery, you can’t help but want to go in. We were on our way to the Chocolate bar and Candylicious(next door) and couldn’t help but go into Retro Gallery. The brightly colored vintage posters are so beautiful. When we went in we saw hundreds of posters, vintage toys, old bicycles, and more that we didn’t have time to look at. The big draw here are the posters(movie, rock & roll, travel, food, etc). They are real vintage posters from years ago. Some are over 6 feet by 6 feet. I asked the manager(owner?) about price and he gave me a range of $ 600 to $ 1800 with some being more or less depending on the poster. I would LOVE one of these for my home, it’s just a matter of finding the right one. The toys in here are also very cute. We saw some classic robot toys from old sci-fi movies. I loved the old style bicycle and the plane hanging from the ceiling. When we came in the manager was helping another couple, showing them lots of posters and discussing different items. They said they were just looking. When they left the manager sat down and really ignored us. We were actually interested in the posters, but he just didn’t seem interested in helping us, so we left. It was late, so I can give him a pass, but I would have expected a little more attention as the only people in the store. If you are interested in small and large vintage posters, this is a GREAT place to start. I also know they sell their work online through the website and through eBay.
