Sears Auto Center

We went to these guys twice in a week for two different problems and were treated fairly and quickly. Have nothing but good things to say about them.

I came here to install four tires at 2:00 P.M. There were four people ahead of me: Two battery changes and two oil changes. I did not leave until 5:00 P.M. These guys are slow as can be and could care less if they are wasting your time. The manager was very rude and short with me and made me wait to check out while she talked on the phone. It’s no wonder Sears is going bankrupt. Trust me go to Discount Tire or NTB no matter the cost!

TWO-​HOUR OIL CHANGE:
I made an appointment for 11 a.m. for an oil change. I arrived 10 minutes early at 10:50 a.m. There weren’t any cars in the garage and there weren’t any other customers. I stood at the counter while Ben continued to make two phone calls before asking how he could help me. I told him I had an appointment. At about 11:15 am. (25 minutes later) he took my keys and told me it would be about a 45-​minute wait. Then, 45 minutes later, at 12 p.m., I asked another associate if my vehicle was still being worked on. By this time, the garage had filled up with cars in nearly every slot. The employee responded rudely with, «Well do you see it in there?» I told him I could not see if mine was still in there. He then came back and just said, «It’s still lifted.» After I had waited double the wait time I was originally told, I asked about my car again. Ben was back now and told me the car was ready but they had just been waiting for someone to bring it out. He apologized for the wait. I was at the Sears Auto Center for TWO HOURS for a simple oil change. Big mistake. This was the second time this garage has made me wait a ridiculously long wait time in the last couple years. I’m done with them and spreading the word!

I was satisfied with the service here. I went based on a referral. Of course I went at the top of the morning when the store first opened so there was no waiting time for me to consider. The service was satisfactory. I had a front end alignment and 2 new tires put on my car. Its been a month and a half and since then they’ve sent me coupons in the mail to insure that I return which I will when I feel I need to. Furthermore, at the time I knew my battery was getting bad and asked them if they would check it to let me know how much longer and they obliged with no problem. I suggest if you go to this location you go before others get there because you may have to wait if there are others before you. The early bird gets the worm.

This place stinks! Waited for over an hour to get a new battery installed. That did not include the wait time for them to start working on my car. And once I saw them close the hood, it took another 20 minutes to pay. The technicians there move so s-​l-​o-​w-​l-​y it is mind boggling.
