Serene Wax is my favorite wax salon for SO many reasons! Jessica and Sonya are both very personable and wonderful at waxing! Their technique definitely minimizes the pain that could and often comes with many wax services. The salon is ALWAYS extremely clean and it is also beautifully decorated! They use high quality wax that does a wonderful job of removing hair.
There was one time where I called on kind of late notice hoping to get an appointment. Jessica did everything she could to accommodate me and secure an appointment even though it was a busy time!
Lastly, they have a package deal for 6 brazilians (I’m pretty sure you can do this for other services as well) for the price of 5. Definitely a great deal to make it much more affordable! I will come to this place as long as I live in Houston!!! Thank you Serene Wax!!!

Can’t say enough good things… Called and got same day appt, location so beautiful, and Jessica was fabulous and so knowledgeable! I’m soooo glad to be rid of the «chain» wax locations! I will never go anywhere else!

I just moved to Houston and needed to find a new salon for a Brazilian. I found this place on Unilocal and it even had a great Unilocal deal. I made my appointment for 6:30 the next day… But I ended up getting off work early and they were able to move my appointment up to 3:30 no problem. Sonia was my wax specialist she was easy to talk to and very quick with her job. I was in and out in less than 30 mins for eyebrow wax and Brazilian wax. Very little pain (some is to be expected). Very clean and accommodating. I will be returning for all my future wax needs.

I’ve been here now more times than I can count, and it’s incredible every time. Sonia and Jessica are the bomb, they are super personable and make the whole experience cake. They are lightning fast and even go back with tweezers to get the more annoying ones (I’m middle eastern, so hair is extra thick and coarse). They’ll even make accommodations to fit me in, even if I wasn’t able to call ahead. Love it love it love it.

I received excellent service at Serene Wax Boutique! From the moment I called and scheduled my appointment, I knew I would be dealing with people who really care about the needs of their customers. They are very friendly, honest, and accommodating. Jessica did my wax and she was amazing! I barely felt a thing and it was over before I knew it. She was also very informative. I will definitely be back!

The ladies here were very accommodating to me being 30 minutes late. Sonia is EXCELLENT. I purchased the Unilocal deal which I got a Brazilian & eyebrows done. This was my 1^st time getting a Brazilian done (yes it hurt like hell) but you get over the pain quickly. Sonia was very sweet & talked me through the process. I strictly came to this place due to the reviews here on Unilocal.If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I will definitely recommend friends & family to come here. These ladies are AWESOME.

Best wax boutique in the Houston area! Staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is very calming! I get the Brazilian and sometimes eyebrows. Only negative is I wish they had a location closer to me in Katy, tx but Def worth the 30 – 40 min drive for a GOOD wax!!! I will definitely be a customer as long as I live here!!!

Serene wax boutique is amazing. Very welcoming, clean, and chic. Jessica has gained a new regular! I also love that they sell 100% Pure products at the front desk.

I’ve been coming back several times before writing this review. Everyone’s friendly and the facility is very clean. The wax they use does not irritate my sensitive skin, unlike the wax service I got from Lux once, which caused my whole back’s skin allergic, and left scars after recovery…

So I’ve been searching for a new place to get a Brazilian waxing and I finally found it! This place is extremely clean. Jessica did my waxing and was fast and painless, she is amazing! She’s also the manger so big win! She gave me great advice on how to care for ingrown hairs and how to prevent them. I highly recommend you see her, I’m sure the others working there are great too. If you unlock the deal on Unilocal you get a free exfoliating brush! How awesome is that?!

When I walk in the door, I feel at ease and comfortable. The rooms are VERY clean and neat. No double dipping and the actual waxing is done quickly and with as little pain as possible. I used the Unilocal special and got the Brazilian and lower leg wax. I am beyond pleased with the results!
The customer service is exceptional! I’m a huge fan and will definitely be back! Give them a chance, you won’t be sorry.

Called on a friday afternoon and was able to get an appt 1.5hrs later. I was greeted by a young lady sitting at the front desk and informed me that Sonia, the wax specialist, would be right with me in in a few. Five min later Sonia led me to a private dimly lit room. For $ 59 I got a Brazilian AND underarm wax. She was quick yet thorough with the job. Painful? Yes… pain is beauty!

I just want to say how shocked I am of their customer service most def a customer can’t wait to go back in 4 weeks.

Had my lip and bikini area waxed by Jessica today. Apparently I was actually having a modified Brazilian waxing. Jessica was skillful with waxing as well as with handling a very private encounter in a natural and comfortable manner. I greatly appreciated her professionalism and friendliness. Serene Wax Boutique does indeed feel serene. It’s very clean and comfortable.
I have been here twice for eyebrow waxing and made day-​of appointments during weekday lunch.
Jessica is very good! She removes the wax strip so fast, I was done before I knew it. The wax is lavender scent. It makes my skin much less red than at other places. Easy-​to-​make appointments and I walk in and out in less than 15 mins. Minimal pain, minimal redness, great results. I will be back!

I have been going to Serene Wax since July for a Brazilian wax. Both technicians are wonderful! They both are very nice and have made the process of waxing way less dreadful. After experiencing Serene Wax, I will never be taking my business back to European Wax Center.
Environment feels high end even while the prices remain reasonable. If you are looking for quality I definitely recommend trying this place out. Also check out their website for first time customer deals!

I’d had a bikini wax once before prior to going on my cruise (went to European wax center) and it was the most excruciating pain id ever felt. I was told that it hurts the worst the first time and that if I never wanted to feel that pain again, I had to maintain it.
I drive by Serene every day to get home so I figured I’d stop in and give it one more try. Why not, it was conveniently located so I had no excuse. I scheduled an appointment over the phone so I was locked in to a date & couldn’t change my mind. I went in for my appointment and I have to say, it was great! Is that possible? The office was clean and had adorable décor. I went in and was out in 15 minutes. Mind you, I was very nervous and extremely jumpy, but the lady was super sweet and calming. She made sure I was ok and did it quickly. I wish I could remember her name — it wasn’t Jessica that the others mention below tho. Needless to say, I’ve been back and have another appointment scheduled. Great place! Clean, sanitary, quiet, and the people are sweet! I definitely recommend it.
