History

Established in 2010.

The truck was purchased in Las Vegas, it was a neglected shell… broken, missing windows, no floor, splashes of sticky soda goo mixed with grease and grime everywhere, but the body was so adorable! I bought it on a whim, and its been an amazing process since that moment. All of my life skills have come into play-from driving a tour bus overseas, to running video playback on TV shows and commercials, to establishing an arts NGO for kids in East Timor and creating a children’s tv show eventually with support from UNICEF. My husband’s the mechanic and electrician, and decided to put lights all over it, initially to keep me safe. Once he found out we were being blessed with a baby 4 days after I bought the truck, he really went light crazy. He spent weeks following the spaghetti cables and unterminated wires.

I named the truck Snowdog since I had to name it after my first baby, Miles, my Malamute rescue found on the side of the road. He lived to 10 and now still parties with me in spirit.

I love making parties. I’ve made parties across the US with a British soundsystem. I’ve made parties in England, in Australia, and even in East Timor, which was probably the biggest (10,000 people). I wound up producing a children’s tv show and starting an NGO called BibiBulak, based on my character that I created during skit performances whilst there. I came back to the US after 6 yrs. & returned to Rio Bravo Pictures as a Production Manager. After 2 yrs. RBP planned on relocating, so I assembled a video playback system with my Powerbook & a DSR-45 deck to create my own flexible machine. II worked on tv shows like Prison Break & commercials for Texas Lottery, Subway, etc. I had an old ambulance and converted it to haul my delicate gear around and called my company Digital Rescue. I’ve always just loved old trucks & technology.
