Zoey is hands down an amazing five star esthetician! I started going to Zoey for waxing services about a year ago. A friend of mine has been going to her for years referred her. I tend to breakout after getting my brows waxed and my friend assured me that it wouldn’t happen with Zoey. It honestly never has. She uses the gentlest wax and has transformed my brows to frame my face perfectly!
At every wax appointment we would talk casually and I would bring up skin questions. She always happily answered each question with explanations and solutions, but never pushed any products or services on me. After about three brow appointments with her she won my trust. I booked a facial with her and it has changed my complexion. I never thought I would be stopped an asked about my skin and I am now!
Zoey is kind, funny, and super real. I love her sincere honesty and passion. She truly loves being an esthetician and genuinely wants you to have the best skin and waxing services. I loved at one of my appointments (when she was answering one of my many questions) in the middle of her response she stopped and said «whoa I’m totally geeking out on your skin right now». That’s what I want and need! For someone to «geek-​out» about my skin! I’m happy to say Zoey has transformed my skin and I owe it all to her!

Spa Zoey is a treat and Zoey is the best. She is the only esthetician that I’ve been to that will be completely honest with you about what will benefit your skin and what won’t. She’s not there to try to sell you product, she is there to help your particular skin be its best. (And, by the way, her products are great and not something that you can find at every beauty supply store in town.)
Zoey has done my waxing and facials for years and I’m completely spoiled for anyone else (hot towels on the feet, hand warmers, back massage, so many little extras!). She is always learning new techniques and implementing them in her practice so when you come, ask her about what is new. You won’t regret it. I think I need to book a facial now!

I’ve gone to Zoey for waxing and facial services for 6 years now. I’m so glad she finally opened her own place. I met her when I had my first Brazilian wax and I’ve been hooked ever since. Zoey is very gentle and patient. She lets me take my time to take «breaks» or deep breaths to calm my nerves. She also has a lot of tricks to distract me while being waxed. And she has great technique. There are times I didn’t even flinch when she yanked. Zoey really knows how to make the whole waxing experience as comfortable as possible. She is also very detailed and meticulous in her work. She takes her time to make sure there are no «stragglers» left. When she’s done, I am as SMOOTH as a baby! And of course my hubby loves it :)
Her facials are also amazing. Before she starts the facial, she thoroughly examines your face to make sure the right product will be used based on your current skin condition. She does a very detailed extraction (no blackheads or whiteheads will be left on your face) and also gives great massages during the facial. And she is not pushy to sell you her products. She’s super easygoing and friendly. 2 years ago I got her facial two days before my wedding. I got so many compliments from my family and friends telling me how good and glowing my skin looked on my wedding day. Thanks Zoey for keeping me beautiful all these years!

I remember the day I walked into the Spa and met Zoey.
October 21, 2011 — the day after my niece was born. I needed a quick brow wax and went in on a whim. And much to my luck — Zoey had an immediate opening and took me back to get my brows done. I was immediately taken in with her friendliness and her easy going nature. She made me feel so welcome. Not only that — but her technique was impressive. When Zoey waxed my brows, it didn’t hurt like all of the other places I had been going to all of those years! So naturally, I had to come back. And so I did, and she even talked me into tinting them so that people could actually see them (I have white eyebrows — LOL!).
I haven’t used her for any other services because I just haven’t had the need. However, I would recommend Zoey to anyone. You can’t go wrong. She’s awesome!

Get ready. this is a long review, but please, if you struggle with bad skin, read on. A little background on my skin — I have been struggling with acne since I was a freshman in college, around 2007. Since then, I have never really been able to get my skin completely cleared. I did everything in the book. microdermabrasion, glycolic peels, juice cleanses, diet changes, even tried getting facials every 2 weeks.everything. I also tried every single product in the book. proactive, drug store products, kate sommerville, dermologica, obagi and skinceuticals… you name it, I have probably done it. I got engaged in April 2014 and decided I had to get my acne under control. Of course, this is when my body decided to create this awful cystic acne that started from my jawline and began to work its way down my neck. What was even worse is on top of the inflammation and cystic acne, I began to form hyper-​pigmentation where all the blemishes were. It was just awful. Nothing was working. I even went to a gynecologist to see if I had PCOS. luckily I did not. I was then prescribed birth-​control to help with my acne but the amount of progesterone caused me to get alopecia which means I began to have bald spots on my hair line. SERIOUSLY? What else could go wrong with my wedding only a few months away. I stopped taking the BC immediately. I began to freak out. I started to look for oral remedies, since nothing topical was working. I ran across a blog that discussed taking high doses of pantothenic acid, and by high doses, I mean taking 20 pills a day for three months. And of course, you must do it everyday for the full 3 months before you see results. I was determined… and desperate. so I did it for about a month but unfortunately because I was having surgery on my knee, my doctor told me I had to stop taking it until after my surgery. Oh no, right? It wasn’t until I went in for my wedding makeup trial, that I started venting to my makeup artist on how bad my skin has become over the past year. She recommended I reach out to Zoey. At this point I was going to the same facialist every 2 weeks, but my skin was not improving and actually was getting worse. So I figured, why not try someone new. My makeup artist knew a lot about skin so I took her recommendation highly. The first portion of our appt was more of a consultation. We discussed the products and treatments I tried in the past and then she actually looked at my skin to figure out which treatment would be best. What is crazy is she said for my skin type she would never recommend some of the treatments I did, such as the glycolic acid peel. (I have fare skin but am also middle eastern) Zoey’s opted to give me an very light acne peel using Dr. Schrammek green herbal peel which consists of all natural products. It is hard to explain the texture of this mask… its similar to a microdermabrasion but has the consistency of a mud mask. Then of course she followed the mask with steam, extractions, high frequency and some other normal facial steps. I cannot explain how happy I am with the results. The peeling was very minimal and my skin was a bit dry, which was expected and as with all facials and acne prone skin, a few blemishes popped up. But of course, Zoey told me before hand if I needed to schedule a quick appointment for extractions, just to let her know. I waited about 7 days to see how my face reacted and on the 7^th day I went in for a quick extraction, and then again waited a few days to see how my skin looked. I just can’t even explain how happy I am. My inflamed pimples are gone. I have one cystic acne blemish that I have had for like 2 months on my neck which is almost completely gone. The cystic acne on my jaw line… gone. The hyper-​pigmentation spots that I had all over my cheek has begun to slowly go away. All after one treatment! Yes. I kid you not. one freaking treatment! Since my wedding is 3 months away, I reached back out to Zoey for another treatment. I went in today for my second treatment. So in total it has been 11 days since my last green peel. I cannot explain how happy I was to finally have a facial that I did not spend cringing in pain during extractions. and best of all the extraction portion of the facial took less than 5 minutes. And again, after this treatment I can say my face looks SO FREAKING GOOD! I went out today (yes, after a facial) with out any makeup on. Who am I? I am so blessed to have found Zoey. I recommend if you have acne problems, big or small, or are just looking for someone who truly knows skin care, please, I urge you to give Zoey a call. I can finally stop freaking out about how my skin will look, not just on my wedding day, but just in general. I no longer have to pile on make up to cover my dark spots and blemishes. Zoey is the best of the best at what she does! I go to her for waxing, but she offers a lot of other services too. My eyebrows haven’t looked this good in years, and her services are very reasonably priced and in a great location. I don’t even live in Houston, but whenever I come down from Dallas (every two to three weeks or so) I make sure to have an appointment!

Been using Zoey’s services for many years now. Always takes care of business I have used others in the past, but Zoey keeps my face trim and clean. Has all the amenities to make sure your spa session gets done correctly. No short cuts. Thanks for taking care of me for all these years.

After trying others for my Brazilian wax, I finally found someone who does an excellent job! I would not hesitate in recommending Zoey for Brazilian waxes. I have been going to her for 6 years now and she is a professional, makes you feel comfortable, and takes her time. She is the best in the industry!

I’ve been going to Zoey for a few years now. At the time I was looking into getting my first Brazilian wax I was pretty nervous. Zoey was recommended to me from a good friend. I called her prior to my appointment and she went over in detail what was to go on during the service. When I went everything went smoothly. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be at all. She preps your skin and does post treatment as well. I can say I’ve been satisfied with my results. If your looking for someone to get everything in detail and make you feel at ease then she’s your person.

I had an amazing facial at Spa Zoey, and knew I was in good hands because Zoey takes the utmost pride in her work and has knowledge about different skin types and what is needed to individualize each facial. The facial included an arm and décolletage massage as well as warm towel therapy for the ultimate relaxation experience. You’ll pay top dollar for this Facial but its so worth it to treat yourself. This was a much needed cleansing facial before my wedding, and Zoey even offered to zap away any pimple that popped up after the facial before my big day, free of charge! She provided a very comfortable environment for me.
There is even a Keurig machine to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the teal tufted velvet chairs in the waiting room. The whole spa has a very cozy but zen feel to it. Go ahead and treat yourself, its worth it.
