Just had the best massage by Keisha! Do yourself a favor and go see this girl! She has a gift when it comes to the neck and shoulders. Much needed. I will be back.

I had a party the night I visited and needed a facial. I heard about the store through a friend and thought about giving it a try. I didn’t had time to make an appointment so I just walked in. To my surprise, they were available for service. They took care of me and I went in and out. The price was reasonable for the service and all of the employees were welcoming. I was happy that they had an available spot for me because when I visited, it was packed. I would highly recommend the place, and ask for an appointment just in case.

I got a microdermabrasion from Mai. I have several acne scars and Mai was able to get rid of 90% of them by the third session. Mai was very sweet and explained the process thoroughly. She made sure that I was well aware of what she was doing to my skin and made the process painless and effortless.
She also specializes in other organic skincare, so if you are looking for facials I would definitely recommend supporting this local business!

Such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend the couple package. Maya and Cristina took wonderful care of us. Facial, massage and a body scrub from heaven. Definitely coming back.

My friends got me an appointment here for my 21^st birthday 5 years ago, and there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. I waited for 45 mins, and still no one. It was a bad experience. They never called or apologized to follow up as well.

No stars. These people can’t tell time. Had a scheduled 90 minute massage, when Drunky McDrunkerstein stopped at 60, then wanted full price. So totally an unprofessional experience.

Just had a couples massage and it was amazing. Included aromatherapy and hot stones. They were very professional and made the visit very comfortable for my wife and I. I would highly recommend this for anniversary or Valentines. My wife has not stopped thanking me for setting this up for us!

Went in last week while visiting the area, and had a great couples massage for myself and my wife. Both of us enjoyed our massage immensely. I’m torn between a 4 star and 5 star rating, but given the size of the therapy room which was cramped, our difficulties finding the place, I can’t say it was the best couples massage we have ever gotten. Our therapists were great though.

Shame on you people. If you advertise business hours and have a plate with business hours on door better be there. So, they apparently come as they please, wasted 30 wait after the posted 10 o’clock opening time.

I went to the spa for my friends bridal party and everything was great! we were greeted with snacks and champagne and the staff was so friendly! great atmosphere, wonderful massage and facial! we had a body glow, a bit different but great on the skin! soft and smooth! overall great day, great experience, thanks to all at sunset!

I went to this spa on Valentine’s Day for a couple’s massage. The hostess was polite. They served us lovely mixed drinks while we waited for our massage room and paperwork to be looked over by the masseuse. We started our massage at 6:10 in the first room to the right which was definitely only big enough for one table but they squeexed two in. Also the ceiling was missing tiles so we could see the maintenance ladders and hear all of the lovely hip hop and salsa from the wedding reception. My girlfriend requested a gentle back massage with hot stones. I requested focus on my upper back. My girlfrien’ds masseuse said she felt super strong that day like superwoman and my gf agreed saying it was the most painful massage she ever had (bruises on her tailbone depict the evidence). I had a very rear end and leg focused massage even though i requested neck and shoulders. My massage table squeeked the entire time. It was as if it were competing with the recption music. Our massage ender a little earlier than 7:30 (even though we started at 6:10 and paid for 90 minutes). I tipped each of the masseuse well because it was a holiday but this was the worst massage experience I have ever had and it almost ruined our Valentine’s day. the receptionist wasn’t even there when we checked out. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I was surprised with a spa package from my boyfriend. I’d been to this building before at a New Years Eve party but never knew about the day spa! This place is a must go to if you’re seeking a clean, comfortable serene environment. I can’t speak for the other employees but Veronica was nothing short of amazing!!! She was friendly and professional. She provided me with clean flip flops and a robe and whisked me away to be pampered with a facial, massage and shower that was so exhilarating words can’t describe how much I enjoyed it!

Had a wonderful massage, they know what they’re doing here! Following I had a Facial, very relaxing and an eyebrow and back wax. Everyone was very profesional and friendly. Will definitely be back for my next spa day.

I purchased the total eclipse package I had a wonderful body treatment my skin was silky smooth. Since my hair was wet after the service and Victoria was so kind to blowdry my hair for free. Then I had my leg wax and Brazilian wax it was amazing and pain free. I definitely recommend that you so see Victoria!!!

I’ll make this short like my wax. I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time with only an insincere apology by the esthetician. Then, «VG» only waxed the front side. not sure who taught her how to do a Brazilian. I didn’t complain because I was running so late already but I was not pleased at all with the wax, it was painful and she didn’t powder or anything and left several strays. I get waxes all the time and this was the worst ever. I came here because I was on vacation and needed a wax before a trip to the keys. I would not go back here again, or at least not see the same girl.

My husband surprised me for our anniversary by making an appointment at this spa. I was confused at first and thought it was part of the Rice Hotel/​Lofts. It is actually a business on its own but within the same building. They did reserve a parking spot for us in the garage. I’m not sure if they do this for all customers. When we went, we had the entire spa to ourselves which made it very special. We were offered sparkling wine and treated like royalty. I cannot stay enough good things about the staff. We both got deep tissue massages with hot stone treatment. It truly was the best massage of my life. The massage therapist that worked on me could tell my sore muscle spots and knots just by touching them and without needing any vocal direction by me. After the massage, I got a spa mani and pedi upstairs by a different employee. It’s been two weeks now and it’s still looking great. They use all of the best products. We got samples of some organic lotions and other goodies on our way out. I cannot recommend this gem of a place enough. Book an appointment — you won’t regret it.

I came in for a mani pedi. I was given the price of $ 76 over the phone. Since there were so many great reviews and I figured I would be getting the «spa» experience I went ahead with it. The most relaxation I received was in the waiting room. The front desk attendant was very nice over the phone and in person. He was super attentive and did a great job communicating with me since the nail technician, Veronica, was running late. However, I give this place 2 stars since it’s crazily over priced for the service given by Veronica. She is a nice lady but my nails were done in the small hair salon area (bright lights, right in front of the wash bowls, did not look clean). She did my manicure first, didn’t use any water, no base coat, barely remembered to put on a top coat, only had about 8 polishes to choose from, didn’t use any lotion nor did she massage my hands or arms. Was moved to the pedicure area afterwords. Same story except the chair was super comfortable and she put my feet in water for a minute after she put a scrub on them. The scrub was by Queen Helene that is no more than $ 3 at Family Dollar.
So it was time to pay and I figured this surely was not the $ 76 mani pedi that was described over the phone, this has to be and express mani pedi or something. Twas not. I payed and didn’t complain because I figured she got some enlightened convo from me and needed that more than I needed the mani pedi.
TLDR: Do not come here for a mani pedi. I repeat… DO NOT COME HERE FOR MANI PEDI.

I was charged $ 73 for pedicure. Worst ever. A give year old could have painted my toe nails better.

I was lucky enough to receive a gift certificate for this little gem from a friend. A quaint spa in downtown Houston that I will definitely be frequenting. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I scheduled a massage and my therapist Kristi, was amazing! I have never had someone that just knew where I needed the most work. She instinctively knew how to work out all my kinks. I have found my forever massage therapist, I highly recommend scheduling with her asap!

My new favorite spa!!! The level of customer service is as amazing as the services they provide. I have been to spas all over the world and I have never experienced a place where everything was excellent! The massages, facials, products, etc. I can’t say enough about the staff — they make you feel like you are a part of their family. The energy is great there because of the people that work there. I highly recommend this place over many spas in Houston and especially more than the major corporate places like Massage Envy and Massage Heights. My best friend and I are there at least once a month!

What this salon misses in opulent settings, they more than make up for in quality and customer service. My wife and I had a couple’s spa date package. It was well worth the money. I highly recommend this place. Great staff, great massages and excellent customer service.

As a stylist of 25 years I have learned a few rules on creating the perfect setting for an up-​do with curls or just all night lasting curls. Ask to speak to your hair dresser before making your appointment. The hairdresser first ensures that your hair cut and style will perform well with the Style you have in mind. Allow your stylist plenty of time for clients with thick hair. When pressed for time, your hair should be shapmooped and dry. It is also helpful that the hair not be conditioned on or the night before your service. That tends to make the hair heavy and drop the curl. Every client is unique therefore all have individual needs. Veronica

I had an AWESOME massage here after receiving a gift certificate. Making the appointment was easy and although I hadn’t planned on it, I went in same day — so this is probably a good bet for last minute appointments.
I had a hard time finding the place. You actually go into the hotel and then up to the second floor. Parking was also a challenge so leave extra time! I did not and came into the spa 2 minutes late and frantic. Luckily, they were super nice about it and the entry space is really calming. After some paperwork, I climbed onto a massage bed and enjoyed 60 minutes of pure, knot-​busting bliss. Ahhh.
Highly recommend this place!

Back in 2010, my sister and I decided to throw a bachelorette pre-​party at this day spa for our middle sister. At first site, we were very happy because the spa was not only nice enough to close their doors to the public that day, they also provided small refreshments and snacks. From there, everything went sour! The bachelorette was told by the massage therapist, «Wow, I am not used to working this hard, my clients are usually smaller.» —BTW: The bride-​to-​be is not that large of a girl… One of the other massage therapist was also very rude to the other clients who bought shorter services. I sensed snootiness myself, and was quite embarrassed to have my friends and family (many traveled from out of town) to have been treated that way.
I would rather not waste another minute talking about this place. There are plenty of other spa places in the city you can choose from… My advise: Skip this place.
