Love the chicken wings, breasts & the Tilapia fillets are the best for the price. Most important produce is fresh and great quality. The produce is a little pricey but the convenience works. It's less than a 5 min walk to go there and back. Great customer service. It's always been clean and or someone is always cleaning when I go there.

I was disappointed with the price of the chicken mole with two sides. The rice and beans portion was small and you were served two chicken legs. The prices are not visible. I was expecting a bit more food for lunch. I also bought a Clorox disinfectant spray that was manufactured in Argentina. I was surprised to find this product at the store and bought it for $ 2. Well, though the bottle is full, the sprayer doesn’t work.

If I could give this place minus stars I would. We were in search of aguas frescas one afternoon and had driven passed this place a million times. So we found a spot in the packed parking lot and went in. It was bright and stocked well with all sorts of groceries you would usually find at a place called Supermercado Teloloapan. We took a right and headed over to the prepared food counter. It was dirty and felt abandoned like in a zombie movie. Cups and napkins and trash flipping about and flies circling the near empty aguas fresca glass jars. I hope this was just a bad time — like right after a big rush of folks or something but it seemed so unsanitary we just turned and walked out. So I can’t speak for their grocery store or what others found as their nice produce selection. My brief experience here was one of fright and flight.

This store is for those quick stops in a pinch. I used to live nearby and I would stop after work but the prices are higher than Kroger for staples like milk/cheese. They have a very small selection of fresh veggies so don’t expect Whole Foods. My fave are the fresh chips and salsa and the meat market. They have an impromptu hot grill but the store should invest in proper ventilation b/c you tend to leave the store sounding like beef or chicken.

Stopped in for a few basic groceries the other day… This is a very simple, no-frills mercado located in a shopping center. Tejano music serenades you over the speakers as you wander the aisles. Having grown up in South Texas, it’s a little bit of home. :) They have a good selection of Mexican and American foods, as well as fresh baked pan dulce, conchas, and other goodies if you need a snack or a quick sugar fix. I found the prices on what I bought to be very reasonable and well under what I would have paid at Kroger or Randall’s. My cashier was friendly, and since it wasn’t busy I was in and out in just a few minutes. One highlight? 16 oz Cokes in the cooler case are two for a buck! You can’t beat that. I will be back again.
