I love Taco Cabana, just not this one. They can never get an order right. They always leave stuff out. My most recent order, was so simple; 1 lb. mixed fajitas to go, an extra order of 12 corn tortillas to go with the flour ones it always comes with. Get home; no rice and beans, no greens with sour cream and cheese. No flour tortillas, but 50(FIFTY) corn tortillas. I thought the bag was heavy because it had everything. It was heavy because it was overloaded with corn tortillas. This is the last time I go to this one; from now on, I make the drive over to the Katy Freeway location. Why can’t they get orders right? Because evidently this location can’t keep employees, every time you go in there’s another new face at the register trying to figure out their crazy system.

Super dirty, The cashier was great but the restaurant so dirty once you get your number you will get problem to find a clean table. I decided sit out but was dirty too napkins every where food stains on table then I asked them who is going to clean the table customer or workers! Then a girl show up and wipe my table only and it was another people having same problem, after all that I got sick and I decided to not go to this place anymore.

Would you like hot sauce with your breakfast tacos? Because when you get home you’re gonna find that although we asked we decided that you didn’t need any… Oh, and you don’t need napkins either…

I visited this location earlier today with my grandparents. The food was not great and the cashier struggled to get the order right. I actually had to get a refund and get recharged for the correct thing. I most likely will not be back to This location. If you eat here beware of the service and food.

The chicken ranch bowl is delish!!! Great TexMex food for lunch and fast service. And the queso taste a little different but in a good way

Chili’s used to be my go-to place for fajitas until I got reacquainted with Taco Cabana. Upon my first time trying their food again since I was little, I thought the meat was a little strange because I was so used to the texture of Chili’s steak fajitas. However, I gave Taco Cabana a third chance, and I’m glad I did. There was a point where I ate here once a week. Now I have converted and prefer Taco Cabana fajitas over Chili’s fajitas. I will surely be back again in the near future.

I’m a frequent lunch goer at this place but haven’t been back for almost 2 months. Today I decided to drop by this joint and grab my usual favorite, steak fajita platter that’s only because they did away with my first favorite, chicken flameante. Of course, I scanned the menu hoping that they would bring it back but fat chance so back to my secondary selection. The décor at this place has changed, new tables and chairs and this place actually looks very clean and cozy. I can’t say that months ago cause it started to look like a bear cave with food on the floor and just platters stacked like pancakes on the trash bins. The steak was fresh and tasty and so were the handmade tortillas. I’ll be coming by more often now and still hoping they will bring back the chicken flameante, lol.

Mold in my food. If I could give 0 stars I would. Came here tonight to get enchiladas after 4 days of not eating real food since I had surgery on my mouth. Service is crap employee are rude don’t even talk to u or nothing. After getting my order with items missing the girl adds the items n some cheese to my beans. I’m glad they did forget otherwise I would not have been given the moldy cheese n would of eaten this crap. The cheese had green mold on it. When I took it back up the manager didn’t even apologize just grabbed it n said I’ll remake it. I got my money back n told them they can keep their moldy food. I will NEVER eat here again ever. I should contact the food department n have them inspect this place. this place is awlful. I wouldn’t eat here who knows what else they are doing not to follow food handler s guidelines. disgusting

The service here has always been below average. They really need to improve their service, also they just look miserable. When I pull up from the drive thur to pay. This same employee who works at night he isn’t rude but he is very sarcastic. When I said thank you on 2 occasions 1. When I received my change 2. When I received my food. This is his response«uh huh» or «yeah sure(but very fake about it)» at least say you welcome, I’m not asking for you to kiss my a** but at least be polite. I will continue to come here but the services need to improve otherwise this location will not open for long Food 7⁄10 Services 3⁄10 Quickness/Speed 5⁄10

I love taco cabana and this used to be a great location but now every time I go my order is incorrect. I even thought maybe the speaker is bad and they don’t understand me in drive thru so I went inside and had the same problem. Today was my last time ordering… They gave me a bean and rice burrito when I ordered a barbacoa taco… It was even marked barbacoa. Not cool.

Stopped by at 10:45pm on a Tuesday. The sign clearly said they were open for dine-in until midnight, drive-through 24 hours. There were a few other customers inside eating. Several employees. The door was locked. One of the employees looked through the window, made eye contact with me, then turned around and kept doing what she was doing. Several minutes went by and they were clearly not coming open the door. Quite pathetic & lazy.

If you want lunch or dinner, they have a variety of burritos, enchilada platters, bowls or nachos to choose from. They even have«personal» sizes in some dishes for those of you counting calories. For those of you that are not, I recommend selecting the full size with a frozen margarita. Yes, they have margarita’s too! You can choose from the traditional lime or strawberry. Not a margarita fan? No problem. Grab an ice cold beer right out of the ice. What kind do you like? Bud Light, Shiner Bock, Modelo, Tecate or Dos Equis? There’s something for everybody. To top of your dish, there is a condiments bar stocked with fresh lime, pico de gallo, cilantro, tomatillo salsa, jalapenos, and many more items. Again, there’s something for everyone. If you would like extra queso, you can add this to your order at the register. The soft drinks and iced tea are self-serve with free refills. If you are dining in, once your order is placed, you will be given a number and someone will bring your order to your table. Tipping is forbidden. They work for smiles not tips, so be sure to smile and say thank you when your order arrives. If you don’t have time to sit down for a meal, you can utilize the drive through. Be sure to ask for condiments if you would like some because they don’t automatically come with the meal. Sorry… margaritas are for dine in only. No alcoholic beverages are served in the drive through. I’m including this helpful information because a friend of mine from Jamaica tried to get a margarita in the drive through. He promised not to drink it until he got home, but they weren’t budging on this rule. There are other places that serve frozen alcoholic drinks in the drive through, but not Taco Cabana. Overall, Taco Cabana is an excellent choice for delicious food and cold drinks. They are also open 24 hours a day so for all you night owls, stop by and grab a bite to eat.

I’m giving them five stars. I know it’s just a taco cabana bit I go every morning. The same staff work every morning and every morning I’m greeted with a smile:)! It’s really the little things! I’m sure an unpleasant experience can put a person on a sour mood… I’ve never had one member of the morning crew rub me wrong. The girl working the drove through this particular morning was just as happy as can be. I love happy people so to the morning staff, thank you and keep smiling!

I’m giving this location 1 star as a courtesy. As former San Antonio residents who never had a bad experience at Taco Cabana; this location is a poor representative of the company. The food is fine. But it’s ruined by clerks who just don’t give a damn. On multiple occasions we’ve had rude cashiers, rude servers and today, rude drive through. There’s too many inexpensive Tex-Mex joints to make TC a required visit. The last time we complained, we were told a new manager was in place. If today was any indication little has changed.

I had been coming to this location for years. Late night and breakfast mostly. Depending on who is working the service is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s awesome, and sometimes you get 3 of the wrong breakfast tacos when you only ordered 2 other ones to begin with. When it’s good it’s good, but there’s too much inconsistency with the service.

The food here is good, but I ordered steak fajitas to go and they gave me chicken fajitas. The place wasn’t even busy but it took forever, I had to ask the woman working there 3 times what kind of condiments were already in the bag, she was not friendly at all and did not inform me guacamole was already in the bag so I paid extra for one. The chicken fajitas were tasty. The flautas I ordered were good but a bit dry and stale.

Horrible service at this location. Plus the food is sub par here in comparison with other fast food Mexican.

This location is usually a hit or miss with service. I generally do drive-thru service. The price always varies though I order the exact same thing every time.(Hmm, I wonder how that happens.) The intercom is very difficult to communicate with the cashiers. Once, the cashiers were overheard mocking my loud, «hello!?» that i had to shout into the speaker to grab someone’s attention. The food is always exceptional, however, don’t be surprised if you have to ask for a lot and occasionally get your order wrong.

This is a great place to pick up a late night snack when other options are not available. I’ve had their quesadillas, beef tacos and nachos. Pretty good for a fast food place which u usually don’t indulge in but every now and then is ok… staff was friendly and convenient.

Taco Cabana, TC, Taco C whatever you want to call it. This is always a good place for a quick breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night eat or drunk eats. Food is pretty consistent here although the lack of detail and the service is lacking in this place. It’s the closest one and I just deal with it because I can get good eats whenever I need. *Chicken fajita tacos, good. *Chips and queso, alright. Sometimes the chips seem stale or cooked in old oil but still edible. Queso always spot on. *Cabana Bowl, good. *Huevos Rancheros, good. *Breakfast tacos, good. Although sometimes they don’t have it labeled correctly in the big order. *Chicken Flautas, yummy with guac or sour cream *Margaritas, does the job. These are surprisingly good. It’s good place to get some beverages and hangout on the patio. As you can see I think the food is pretty consistent but like I said the service is pretty disappointing. This is the first time I’ve experienced this. I’ve been to plenty of TCs all over this great state and this one is so sad. This is why the 3 stars for the service. When I move apaprtments I’ll have to make sure that the TC service is up to par.
