Tacos El Mapache III

Pollo asado is good in this place! I tried the tacos but I didn’t like them
The I saw on the menu they have Pollo asado (Grilled chicken) and I found it pretty good, small place but good food

I’ve been at this place twice and I think it’s really good. First of all the beef fajita tacos cost $ 2.00 ea and are made with handmade corn tortillas, they are big and with lots of meat. I don’t know about the rest of the menu but their tacos are awesome. Service is average and location is not the best, but their are in the same shopping center where the Houston Police’s station is, which is a good thing.

If you like diarrhea! Then, this is the place for you!

The raccoon* population is multiplying (i.e. franchise … if not a franchise, then the owner should see the abogado a few doors down the strip mall to sue the others).
My Order: Beef-​steak special $ 6.50
Lots of meat, some with the rib bones. Very little fat attached. Medium chewy. Marinated well. Tasty. If you eat it all, you will walk wobbly like a ring-​tailed mapache.
Pico de gallo was fresh, and had more jalapeño pieces than the mild stuff you get at big chain restaurants.
Shredded lettuce was a bit old, but not yet brown spotted.
Mexican rice good.
Two small viles of salsas: mild chipotle and a hot green tomatillo.
* ‘mapache’ English translation is ‘raccoon’ (see same name review, but of taco truck)
