History

Established in 1999.

The Joint is a rapidly growing franchise whose story first began in 1999. Back then The Joint set out to promote and deliver the health benefits of routine chiropractic care because at the time, a rapidly changing chiropractic industry left providers searching for an alternate means to meeting the needs of patients in an otherwise conventional healthcare structure. On a mission to meet the needs of both patient and chiropractor, The Joint set out to transform the traditional and often misunderstood practice of chiropractic care into a strong, simple and valuable business.

Meet the Manager

Mike Crone, D. C.

Manager

A native of southern Louisiana, Dr. Crone has always held true to his values of teamwork, health and well-​being. In the days following hurricane Katrina, he volunteered in shelters at the university he would later attend. As a young athlete, he was inspired and mentored by local chiropractor Dr. Glenn Manceaux, who treated the players on the sidelines during high school games.

During his pre-​medicine studies at Nicholls State University, Dr. Crone was among the top students in the Honors program, ultimately earning the opportunity to travel with faculty to Costa Rica for biology research. In order to give back to his community and work toward his goal of chiropractic healing, he also volunteered as a coach for his high school football team and the local recreational soccer team.

Dr. Crone believes that patient education is the first and most important step to wellness, and he enjoys empowering his patients and their families to take their health into their own hands. In his free tim
