The Movement Lab is an instituion servicing the Houston area with multiple disciplines of dance and perfomance art. TML is the best institution in town for innovation, insipration and collaboration. TML is a haven for young artisits preparing dancers for company and commerical careers. Established in 2013 by Artisitic Director, Kevin Ferguson, TML is a place where technique and artistry collide. TML was created to give our dancers of tomorrow the chance and opportunity they deserve. TML is dedicated to the training of dance and we believe in quality over quantity.

I was impressed with this studio when I saw the rules and policies. It is obvious that young dancers are not just being taught dance technique. They are also being taught honor, discipline and character. The policies also took me back to when I was a young dancer, when we weren’t allowed to wear our leotards and tights out of the studio, or to miss classes or to slouch through any part of class. It is the idea of dance as fine art, a jewel that is to be taken seriously. Congrats to this dance studio!

The Movement Lab is one of the newest dance schools in Houston! The owner is professional and there had been major progress in all of the dancers.
The studio offers modern, tab, ballet, hip hop, African dance and even a Pilates class.
