While on my layover in Texas, I knew I needed to pick up a little something for family members. I saw an offering of hot sauce at by 2 get 1 free, and since my husbeast is a big fan of all things hot, I decided that’d be perfect for him. I also saw some candies…
So that’s what happened: A cow patty, a bottle of hot sauce, some Texas redhots and a couple of different kinds of chocolates, these are the souvineers they’ll get. :)

Nothing more but a quick stop for those who need some gum, snacks or other accessories before heading on their flight. Serivice was quick and easy but some items are a bit overpriced. After all this is George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

A typical airport sundries store.
They have a good selection of things that you might want/​need for your upcoming flight and for being in the airport, the prices are not too gouging!
The cashier was very friendly and the store was well organized and clean.

The Paradies Shops ist schon die richtige Schreibweise. In Texas findet man es sehr häufig, dass sich Deutsch und Englisch mischt.
Der Shop ist eigentlich ziemlich unspektakulär. Ein total normaler Flughafen Laden mit allem möglichen Nippes und Utensilien.
Ich habe aber unbedingt ein bestimmtes Souvenir gebraucht. Und das war ein Don’t mess with Texas-​T-​Shirt. Eins für 12,99 und zwei für 20 $. Das ging in Ordnung. Die Qualität war wie zu erwarten ziemlich mäßig, um nicht zu sagen schlechter als die China-​Qualität.
Und ein Buch für den Rückflug hab ich mir dort gekauft: den Da Vinci Code. War auch günstiger als in Deutschland. Da konnte ich nicht viel falsch machen mit.
