The Salvation Army is always hit and miss in my opinion. This particular location had a good amount of stuff but I found the quality to be a bit lower than I had come to expect. Though I did manage to find a couple good items which made the trip worth of, I can’t say this was a top notch location

Found a couple of great bargains here but it took some searching. The store is fairly well organized with lots of furniture at good prices. Worth visiting on Wednesdays when clothing is all 50% off.

I live not to far from this store and I wish they would close down this location. People leave donations after hours. What happens next is thieves stop by during the night and steal everything in sight. Recently homeless people have started sleeping outside the store at night. I support The Salvation Army but I wish they would move this store to another location. There are a lot of suitable store fronts on Veterans Boulevard for example. Why they chose to pay high rent prices on 1960 is beyond me.

SA is a really good thrift store. They are super cheap! I came on a day where they had 50% off everything with a blue tag whereas Goodwill was 30%off. I went to goodwill after SA and goodwill was quite a not more expensive than SA. Too bad there isn’t more SAs around. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I felt like there needed to be more of a selection. It was a lot of t-shirts. But then again I could have spent more time looking around. I did did 3 t-shirts, 2 necklaces, and a cardigan all for $ 13. Definitely worth the look and your money!

I’m a fan of S.A. on Wednesday … only. Lol. They offer 50% off on clothing every Wednesday. I go to this store because it is close to my home. My usual purchase tend to be jeans and casual t-shirts. I have found many brand name jeans at S. A, in good condition and at a very affordable price if shop on Wednesday. This location doesn’t have a lot of clothing like the one on Washington Avenues. When shopping at thrift store like S.A., you should be patient and remember to try on clothes just like when you’re at the mall. Lastly, as you are spending money with S.A., you are also helping them funding their charity mission.
