I don’t recommend! Very small market. Jus only a few booths. No worth it $ 10 the entrance at all!

I’ve been coming to Urban Market for years and it just keeps getting better & better. I love the new location. Even with a little rain, it was perfect. Try to get there the first day for the really great finds.

If you like heading to Round Top to shop, you’ll LOVE The Urban Market. You get the same «get-​away» feel, though it’s a just 15 minute drive. There are great deals and it is the PERFECT size: Just big enough to get your fill of antique shopping but not overwhelming. And there is great food to look forward to: My fave’s are the pimento cheese and the gumbo. My girlfriends and I leave the kids at home and make it «a date» every time.

Great mini Marlburger experience! I’ve gone to almost every Urban Mkt and never fail to find something fab! It’s a fun time to brouse, meet up with old friends, enjoy shopping outside and grab something great to eat and drink. Casual. Something in all price ranges… Fabulous dealers!
Can’t wait til may 4 & 5 to see what’s new!

If you like Round Top, but hate the drive… Urban Market is the perfect option. Obviously, it’s not as big as Round Top, but it’s like Round Top in that you can spend a pretty afternoon browsing great stuff. I always find some treasure, but even better… I find local dealers that I might not otherwise have visited.
The Bayou Events Center location is so easy with lots of parking. There’s always good food. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon with friends!

Urban Market has always been a great event. But the new location is fabulous! It is convenient, plenty of paved parking, no dirt or mud lots to walk on, and there is a beautiful covered pavilion that houses clean and well stocked restrooms. The Saturday evening event is better than ever! I’m always torn between shopping and enjoying the fabulous catered nibbles and wine. This is a very lovely event at a great venue. It’s a must-​do on my ‘shopping with friends’ list. Can’t wait for the next one…

Three times a year, this open air market offers visitors and opportunity to shop for furniture, artwork, clothes, unique one of a kind items, etc. without leaving the city. Vendors have marked their items to move. Deals are to be made…
The new location, just 1 minute south of Reliant Stadium, is easy to get to and the parking is free and paved (no more mud or fire ants)! Air-​conditioned and spotless restrooms are a nice addition to the new location.

I’ve been a regular at this quarterly market for years now, and I must say that the new location on Smith/​Elgin is the best yet! Nothing fancy, just a concrete parking lot fenced off. It seems as though there are more vendors each time, you can find any sort of antiques, furniture or decorative accents for your home or business. It is usually $ 5 to enter and you can wander to your hearts content. The booths are all under tents, so weather is not an issue (unlike previous venues). You never know what you might uncover, but I never walk away empty-​handed.
