We specialize in traditional as well as exotic and contemporary floral arrangements for you and your loved ones. We also have a wide assortment of green and flowering plants. Whether it be a birthday, anniversary, Mother’s day, Valentine’s day, Prom, a first date, a hundredth date, a wedding, a funeral, or maybe just a simple gesture, we have something for everyone.

History

Established in 1972.

The Wild Orchid began it’s days as Judy’s Florist and even had a quaint little tea room inside where neighborhood ladies would come wearing their hats and gloves to have tea and gossip with their friends! The tea room at Judy’s was wildly popular and the flower business was booming, however, the recession in 1980 – 82 led Judy to sell to hairstylist Virginia Mosely (affectionately called Ginger by those who know her best), who turned the florist/​tea room into a florist/​salon and called it The Wild Orchid. Soon, Ginger decided to focus solely on the flower business and did so for 18 years. Fast forward to the year 2013, when Ginger called on a former employee and friend named Minda to take over her baby, as she was getting ready to retire. Minda, at the advice of her children, decided to go for it, and went from florist to business owner and couldn’t be happier!
