Just purchased an F250 Super Duty King Ranch 4×4 Diesel from Tommie Vaughn Ford/​salesman David Bagby. After shopping extensively to beat their deal — couldn’t do it! The service/​education after the sale, the «my door is always open» offer, & the personal care afforded… was impressively rewarding! It’s an awesome truck at a great price. Great customer service. Friendly staff. My car is second hand and bought elsewhere so I was a little nervous but they talked me through customized service and maintenance recommendations for my vehicle. They clearly differentiated between «must do» safety or warranty maintenance and what was «nice to have» and came up with a plan that met my budget. Everyone working there was very knowledgable and helpful — service advisor, cashier, technicians — and it was clear that many of them are long-​time loyal employees which is nice to see. They provide a convenient drop off and pickup service so you don’t have to wait while they work on your car. It was an all round excellent customer experience!

I had my oil changed with tires rotated and belts and everything else checked! They were fast and very friendly! If you are buying a ford come to Tommy Vaughn and ask for David Watson! You will be entertained and he’ll beat anyone’s deal!

We had an appointment to service the car at 10 AM and were told it would be ready in one hour and forty five minutes. When we arrived to pick the car up at 1:15 nothing had been done at all. No one bothered to pick up the phone to let us know we would be wasting our time as they had not even looked at our car. We had to leave and return once again (an hour and a half later). No apology other than «sorry» was given.
We were inconvenienced and will think twice about bringing the car here again to be serviced. My question to these people is: «why do you offer AND allow us to make appointments» if they mean nothing to you???

I recently purchased a truck from Tommie Vaughn Ford, and I must say the customer service was excellent! I was in and out in about an hour. Which is not common in most dealerships. And they were very open minded about negotiating a great price. And our salesman Richard Salas was very attentive and concerned about my needs regarding the truck and its features. And the finance guy was so wonderful! (Forgot his name) but I definitely recommend visiting this dealership if you are looking to buy a vehicle

My son took his car in for transmission issues, windshield wiper system repair and open an recall. We received bad news about the transmission, water got into the transmission and rusted out the inside. We had to pay out of pocket to get this repaired. I was shown the parts and the car and all of my questions were answered in detail.
They took care of us!
The Service Manager, Jeremy Wilson along with the Service Advisor, Bobby Harrell, were great. From the beginning to the end, they both made our situation smooth and pleasant. They went above and beyond and made sure all of our questions were answered and kept us informed every step of the way. All of the issues were taken care of and although we paid $ 900, we left happy ! Thanks guys !

In the search for my new truck I visited A LOT of dealerships and talked to A LOT of salespeople. Most of which were only interested in selling me what they had on hand and didn’t seem interested at all in making a special order (Namely Katy autonation). I wanted a Extended Cab F-​350, which apparently is the unicorn of the truck market.
Thad Free was by far the friendliest, most laid back salesperson I ever met in my search for a truck (which canvased numerous states). When it came time to place my order he gave me ALL the information I needed to make informed choices on my truck, so much more information than the website or any other dealer. I got every last thing I wanted from the door trim to the axles, and felt that I had the information to make those decisions.
When the truck finally arrived from Ford, Thad himself retrieved it from the rail yard as all the transport companies were backed up due to flooding in Houston.
My only complaint is regarding the dealership’s «less-​than-​courteous» courtesy shuttle. You would think that when you’re spending $ 60,000 on a vehicle that you’ve special ordered, they might [literally] go the extra mile and pick up a customer in Katy when their truck came in. Nope, a very strict 10 mile limit. Same when your vehicle goes to the shop; the driver tells me she can only go 10 miles, I ask «How about Memorial City mall?» and tells me «how am I supposed to know if that’s 10 miles?» as she’s staring at the GPS and odometer. And then we proceeded to Über from Memorial City to Katy, kind of a pain in the ass, considering your brand new truck has a glitch and won’t do over 50mph.
If I’m in the market for a Ford again, I’ll definitely be visiting Thad, and recommend any body to him as well.

I was looking for a great used car and came across Tommie Vaughn Ford. I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. I was approached by Jp Panameno quickly and explained what I was looking for. I also told him I don’t like going back and forth with documents I just want it to be an easy no hassle transaction. He smiled and said I know I can help you get the vehicle I wanted without a hassle. He was the most honest salesman I’ve ever dealt with. He gave me answers to my questions immediately which I was very grateful for and got me in the vehicle I wanted. It was a pleasure working with Jp and I will definitely send him as much business as I can. If you want an easy buy Jp is the sales person to ask for. Don’t have a bad thing to say even if I tried. Bought my new car from here. They price matched AND beat a quote from another dealer. They recommended a place to sell my vehicle (which was so awesome, got more than I wanted). I worked with Laura Luna and the thing I loved most was, they aren’t your typical salesmen. They genuinely care about your needs and about your vehicle. Having a terrible first car buying experience, they made this so easy and smooth! They are so honest and friendly! I even brought my car in for a complimentary wash/​detail and there was a long wait. Instead of letting me sit there forever, another salesman, Sam Powell took me to the grocery store so I could run errands. They treat all their customers with such respect and friendliness. I definitely recommend coming here, they’ve taken great care of me and my new escape!

Great service department. I always ask lots of questions and the staff gives great answers. I feel like I have power to make informed decisions here and leave feeling confident in the service. Highly recommend. Also they have rewards points for service. I just got $ 17 off my oil change with points I had accumulated from previous services I had done. Whoop!

Nothing but good things to say about our quick transaction at Tommie Vaughn. My awesome neighbor gave me Thad Free’s card and highly recommended him. We met Thad last Saturday morning at the dealership and he quickly helped us find exactly what we were looking for, an F150 SuperCrew Cab. Thad has been with the company for decades and is an extremely nice guy and not pushy at all. I see why our neighbor recommended him, as well as the dealership.
Finance Department was awesome as well. I must say that this is the first time in my adulthood life that I can actually say that a finance department was amazing lol. We were set up with John Frisby, who was not only unbelievably fast, but a very kind person and wasn’t pushy like most finance departments we’ve dealt with in the past.
I enjoyed our time at Tommie Vaughn and will definitely return in the future.

I had a horrible experience attempting to get service here. My car was making a noise, so I scheduled the first available appointment for 11am then next day — I was assigned to Bobby Harrell. When I arrived at 11 am, Bobby was not in his office, so I met with another service manager, who told me they would look at the truck and call me once they looked at it and discuss what needed to be done. I had not gone into the office that day so that I could deal with my car. I dropped it off and walked home to work remotely while the car was being fixed.
At 430, I had not heard an update, and I had an evening event to attend. I called Tommy Vaughn, and Bobby did not answer. I called the other agent, and he did not answer. 30 minutes later Bobby returned my call and laughed at my request for an update, saying «we won’t have a chance to look at it until next morning.»
Um, what? What purpose did my 11am appointment serve? And why wouldn’t you tell a service customer that you would be keeping the car overnight when that became apparent?
I picked up my car and will NOT attempt to use Tommy Vaughn Service again.

Thank you Unilocalers for leading me to Tommie Vaughn! I had a terrible experience at Joe Myers and was at my wits end dealing with them when I came to Unilocal.Not only were my concerns about the other dealership solidified on Unilocal,I was also guided to come here.
I received excellent customer service. My rep Randy helped me get several issues on my Flex taken care of. A rental was brought to the service area for me to easily drive away in and continue with my day. While my vehicle was being serviced Randy called the next day to give me an update. I was given clear information about the process and felt my Flex was in good hands. When I picked up my vehicle it was washed and perfectly fine.
The whole process was streamlined.
I am so thankful I found Tommie Vaughn. I will be taking my Flex there only from now on.

After owning Chevy and Toyota trucks, I worked with David Bagby to buy my first Ford truck. I initially only visited Tommie Vaughn Ford to learn more about Ford trucks. At my first visit, David was friendly. Even after starting out by saying I wasn’t there to buy, he still gave me a solid hour of his time. He made the learning process very comfortable and shared highlights that weren’t in the sales brochures. This demonstrated he really knew his products. In the end, this was the best buying experience I’ve ever had.

I have loved my experience at Tommie Vaughn Ford. I actually bought a Ford because I wanted to use their service department (I live in the glow of their awesome, now-​vintage neon sign).
They have gone out of their way to make the experience of having to leave my car with them a good experience — from giving me a rental (when my car was still under coverage) to making sure I had a clear understanding of how long it would take to get me my car back. I’ve also used the body shop, and they did an excellent job with communicating with me and with the insurance to have my car back in mint condition.
Salesman Kenny Pettaway is awesome; while I did not actually buy my Ford from Tommie Vaughn (bought it certified from Joe Myers), Kenny was truly helpful and patient with me, letting me test drive several new and used Fords, helping me understand pricing options for the different cars, giving me kind attention even after I told him I found a used one at another dealership. He let me know that I got a really great deal!
Randy Marek and Richard Moreno in the Service Department have been professional and excellent communicators. I have appreciated working with them. And the women and men who work the check out desk are kind and supportive (car problems are not easy to deal with!). They service providers (guys in the garage) have done a great job solving the problems with my car.
I’ve even used the Quick Lane (awesome experience) and the Body Shop. With the latter, I worked with Bill Talje, a guy who was quick to give me an estimate and help me understand what was going to be involved in the collision repair.
In addition to the great service, provided by great people, they send out coupons and discounts to customers on a regular basis. The last time, I left my customer appreciation coupon at home, and they still honored it.
I «heart» Tommie Vaughn Ford.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Richard Ruffino. This dealership is above reproach.
I visited 6 different ford dealerships all but Tommie Vaughn was dishonest about something and a couple flat out lied to me. Richard pointed out a lot of tricks the other dealers were using to get me thinking I got a better deal than I would have.
Even the financing part was straight forward. No tricks or scams. Questions I asked from what I learned from other dealers and buying cars in past was answered honestly…
All that and not to mention I got the best deal on the car and they matched my trade in!
Bottom line if you want the best deal and to deal with honest people go to Tommie Vaughn…

I’ve just moved to Texas with my leased Ford Escape and had no idea how to mount my front license plate. Not wanting to damage my car and have to explain it when I go to turn it in, I went to Tommie Vaughn’s QuickLane for service. They are SAINTS. First, I felt like an idiot for asking for help to screw something in, but they were kind and did it for me on the house. Then I left my phone on the counter there because I was all kinds of stupid and distracted (I want to blame being in the middle of a move). I turned around to go back for it and they met me at my car. Like I said, saints.
I will be going back for any and all oil changes, warranty work, and to buy a car when my lease is up. They are good, honest people!

Boy was I WRONG! I mean, come on… how much can you say about a vehicle dealership, especially when your vehicle is in service, right?
The staff at Tommy Vaughn, specifically Paula, changed my mind, outlook on dealerships, outlook on service mechanics and everything negative thought I’ve ever had about dealing with vehicle stuff.
I went in because my vehicle obviously was having problems, but also because I received a letter about a possible cause. Paula took my information, looked into my warranty policies and gave me details that I had not received during previous service visits at another Ford Dealership. She really, to me and my prior experience — again at a different dealership, went above and beyond for me. I have Never left a dealership, weather buying a vehicle or having service done and felt satisfied and happy — until this experience.
She made me feel like she was only working on my case. Gave me great attention, answered all of my questions, was upfront with me — no smoke and mirrors. She was in constant communication with me about my vehicle and again her customer service was OUTSTANDING. Because of Paula, I will buying my next vehicle from Tommy Vauhn Ford! They will also be getting my service work. I am so happy to have found a place with people like Paula because trusting your vehicle service team is very important.
