I love this place, their burger are great, the service is outstanding, Thanks.

This place NOLONGERSELLSBURGERS!!! Their tacos are less than average. Trust me I know, tacos. Their breakfast tacos were on a nasty fake flour tortilla and the egg and potatoes were not good at all. You’re better off getting s bfast taco from Whataburger lol!

I’ve always loved Tornado Tacos burgers. Much to my dismay they no longer sell burgers. They have gone strictly to tacos, burritos and nachos thus the name Tornada Taco. Here in Spring Branch, you can get tacos every half block so it’s not the best choice in variety. I’m very disappointed for I felt this to be one of the best burgers in Spring Branch. I may not return for some time due to the fact of the burgerl ess shack. Sad.

Extremely disappointed they no longer serve burgers at this location, since I preferred their burgers over the one in Stafford. I settled with a spicy ground beef taco, since my mouth was already prepared for a double meat spicy burger, only to be let down… again. Though the taco was great in size & value, the sloppy taco was *aight* in taste, especially compared to the goodness that WAS the spicy burger.(I might be a tad bit dramatic, but I. WAS. DEVASTATED. The guy heard my involuntary exasperating gasp at the terrible news through the drive-thru speaker) No bueno. Haven’t came back & most definitely won’t come back since the menu changed. Hopefully they notice the decline in once loyal spicy burger-loving customers, recognize their customer’s disappointing surprise &BRINGBACKTHEBURGERS. The absolute dumbest idea they could’ve had was to get rid of the REAL money making side of their menu & they most definitely fulfilled that stupidity.

Really good tacos and very quick service — not sure how it gets any better. They’re only open for breakfast and lunch. Barbacoa was very flavorful and not greasy. Veggies were all fresh. Sausage has a bit more spice than I liked but still great.

Updated for fall 2015: One of the best cheap burger places inside Houston now relegated to an also-ran taco place. I cannot fathom why the owners would remove the most beloved half of the menu. So sad, ’cause the folks that work here are awesome, but I won’t be coming back now that the burgers and fries are gone. Dumbest decision… Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Worst breakfast tacos ever! The flour tortilla wasn’t cooked all the way and the egg with chorizo taste horrible. I make better breakfast tacos then this place I was just out and running errands with my husband and we both did not like it.

One of the best«spicy» burgers in Houston. Be sure to top off the burger with a runny fried egg!

What the hell did they do to this place? Half the menu is gone and it was the best half. All the gyros, burgers and Phillies are gone along with the fries. I ordered their breakfast potatoes instead and was given what might have been decent potatoes if they hadn’t been drenched in crappy queso. Please, whoever is responsible for this, change it back!

This business no longer sells burgers. Therefore the name is now Tornado Taco #2. Only their Stafford location sells burgers which is very sad news to me since it’s quite far from where I reside. Those burgers were the best I’ve had. I highly recommend you go to their other location if you ever have the time. Other than that the food they currently sell here is good. People rant about their cheesy potatoes. I just wished those burgers were still around. R.I.P tornado burger I will miss you dearly. Music here is great, love me some 60’s. Come out for some tacos and enjoy the outside seating with rooftop to keep you nice and cool under the shade.

This place no longer sells burgers, so don’t drive over here looking for a burger like I did. they actually changed their name also, it’s actually now Tornado Taco#2. I settled on the fish tacos(not a good choice) since I had already driven there. But no burgers was a major disappointment :-( I’m giving 2 stars because of the no burgers, no website update on changes, and the tacos I had was not tasty. Since I haven’t tried the other items I feel that 2 stars is only fair.

OK so major changes here. They have gone native and just Mexican food now. Not that it’s a bad thing, but if your looking for a burger it’s not gonna happen!

I actually went here for burgers but only found a tacos menu. Luckily they had quesadillas here so I ordered a half quesadilla with chicken. I haven’t found a mexican/central america eatery/taqueria to eat at yet in Houston but the quesadillas here were a-ok. Much better than Taco Bell for sure. I’m trying to watch what I eat so I didn’t dip my quesadilla in the sour cream, but the guacamole was fresh and good.

I’ve had their spicy burger, fries and breakfast tacos. I must say I’m pleasantly surprised by this place. I passed it by many times but decided to give it a try when I saw the Unilocal reviews. The burger was so full of flavor and the fries were very fresh. I love Five Guys because of their fries. Tornado Taco’s fries are just as good and their spicy burger blows Five Guys out of the water. Plus the cost was around $ 7 bucks for the combo! I built my own breakfast taco and tried the al pastor taco. They were both great! I’m looking forward to going back and trying the Philly cheesesteak or Gyro next. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed and the prices are very reasonable.

These burgers are mouthgasmic!!! If you come, get the spicy one. The meat alone is extremely flavorful. The music is a bit loud and super mexican but I don’t mind it since I grew up listening to this. Burgers are a must. Seriously. I hardly ever do reviews, this one was an immediate I GOTTATELLPEOPLEABOUTIT!!! from what I hear the tacos and burritos are amazing and ginormous. YOU seriouly HAVE to Try these Burgers. They won’t disappoint.

The reviews for this place were great, but I was so disappointed. The girl who took our order could not get our order right. I had to repeat myself at least 3 times. Then after leaving the drive through line, I realized that the order was wrong and it was too late to get it fixed. I wanted to try something new, but I’ll stay with Casa de Leon down the street.

I was getting my tires replaced next door at Discount Tires(btw great service there), and the wait was a bit long, being a weekend. We discovered this place on Unilocal and walked over. Their burgers are the bomb! They are the first restaurant I have ever been to that offer a Spicy Patty option, and it is amazing. The patty is very flavorful and tastes real good when with a fried egg on top. The tacos were okay, in my opinion. They didn’t taste any different from any other taco-truck. Overall, great food, great service!

Umm… ok. Can we say SCORE!!! I’ve had a heck of a day at work & decided to leave the building for lunch. Wandering through the city streets I ran across this joint. I’d heard of it before, but didn’t realize how close it was to my office. And now that I’ve found it, I’m not sure this is a good thing. LOL So, I pull up & it’s 30 minutes to closing time for this joint, but I still got quick & super friendly service. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo & opted for the spicy patty & fried egg. As I waited, got a giggle out of their sign explaining they can’t control the heat levels of the peppers, so order the spicy patties at your own risk! It didn’t take long for my order to come up & I was on my way. By the time I got back to the office, both my fries & burger were still smokin hot! The fries had a tasty seasoning on the outside & they were good & crunchy. But tha G that burger was tha BIZ-NESS! Cut it in half & the perfect amount of fried egg yolk drizzled down. Bit into the burger & lawd all the flavors hit me! Buttery toasted bun, crunchy lettuce & onions, crispy bacon, grilled jalapenos, gooey cheese… YUMMO!!! And did I mention the price? You cannot beat the price for the amount of food you get. You’d pay the same amount elsewhere & get crappy food and poor service. Unfortunately for my calorie count, I will def be back to this place.

I had their regular burger with fries and drink combo for $ 5.65 with tax. I liked the burger even though it was a little smaller than what I thought it should be. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato were good too. The bun was your average white hamburger bun. The fries looked good and were good. I am giving the overall meal a strong 3. It was good and I would come back for it. Also it was very economical. This location does have a small indoor room to eat the food in in case you don’t want to sit outside. When I come back I want to try their Philly cheesesteak. If you are in the area and looking for an inexpensive meal this is a good choice. I recommend.
