Vision Source Memorial

Went in this morning for my yearly eye exam and they are seriously the nicest and helpful people !
They use the latest technology and I like the way Dr. Desai gave a thorough exam and explained everything clearly about the health of my eyes.

I had such a wonderful appointment at Vision Source Memorial, I just had to write a review! I’ve been to my fair share of eye doctors, but none as thorough and dedicated as Dr. Desai. I went in for an annual eye exam, a new contact lens prescription, and new frames.
The facility itself is super clean and super high-​tech. Not only do they administer the standard vision checks, but they also have an Optomap machine that takes a panoramic view of the retina. Dr. Desai enlarged the images and took her time discussing everything she noticed on the Optomap. She pointed out a few areas of slight concern and fully explained what to ask my primary care doctor for in my next physical based on those results. I could tell she truly cared about me as her patient. She has a warm, bubbly, friendly personality. I was comfortable asking any questions I had during my exam.
In terms of new contacts and glasses, I received free trials (2 weeks) of two different contact brands so I could decide which feels most comfortable before ordering. They have a great selection of glasses at varying price points going all the way up to top designer frames. The lady at the front desk and Dr. Desai helped me pick out new glasses and go through all the racks. I learned pretty quickly that Dr. Desai’s thoroughness doesn’t end at the eye exam! She sat down with me at the end of my appointment and did the math for all my insurance credits to try and see how she could apply them to get me the best possible price.
Overall, I left Vision Source Memorial confident that I’ve found my forever Texas optometrist. It’s not everyday you find such a kind doctor willing to go the extra mile for her patients!

Dr Desai at Vision Source Memorial was one of the most sweetest, knowledgeable, and compassionate optometrists I’ve ever been to. This was by far an extremely detailed and thorough eye appointment. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 8, so I’ve been to my fair share of optometrists. Their selection of eye wear caters to every age group, I had a hard time choosing because their were so many options. The Dr. and her staff helped me choose and gave their opinions on what they thought looked great on me. Another personal detail I’ve never experienced at any optometrist office. I’ve been recommending all my family and friends.

Dr. Desai has been my primary optometrist since I moved to Texas. She’s the most detailed, knowledgable optometrist I’ve ever had. She caught a slight astigmatism that no other Dr caught before. She takes her time with her patients at a time when most Dr’s breeze through their exams. I particularly like that she takes the time to explain everything. Her office is amazing and has some high tech equipment and the largest selection of glasses I’ve seen. I would highly recommend this optometrist to anyone.

Vision Source Houston is very nice. The facilities are impeccable, they have a great selection of designer styles and the staff are amazing and attentive.
Dr. Desai is extremely friendly and puts you at ease from the get go. She is so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a way I could easily understand and thoroughly. I could not help but leave with a very big smile on my face. She is great with kids and adults. Takes her time to do a great job and extremely thorough.
Overall great experience. Don’t think I’d ever go anywhere else. It’s so personal and friendly I feel like I really belonged there.
