Business Owner

Dr. Lai has lived in the Houston area for twenty-​three years and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1996. His training included a glaucoma/​refractive surgery externship at the Hermann Eye Center followed by a specialty contact lens/​ocular disease externship at St. Lukes Hospital. Before joining the Vision Source, he was a clinical instructor at the Settegast Health Center and a clinical investigator for the University of Texas Health Science Center. His research projects involved testing new medications used in glaucoma treatments. His training allows him to provide the very latest treatment options and his dedication truly sets him apart from the rest.

Dr. Lai’s personal care philosophy is all about commitment. He is committed to providing his patients with the highest standard in eye health care. He is committed to exceeding his patient’s expectations by always placing their visual and eye health needs first.
