This PHARMACY good heavens. To say that it is run inefficiently is an understatement. I went to pick up a prescription and they said the wait would be 20 min. I came back 1 hour later and they said it wasn’t quite ready yet, that it would be a 5 – 10 min wait. I sat for a full 25 min before I received the medication. Meanwhile, I could see numerous people waiting in line unattended.
Seriously, management needs to do something to make this department run more efficiently.

This will be my last time using the Walgreens pharmacy on buffalo/​bisonnet. Never have they filled something in a timely manner even when I’ve gone through the pain of trouble-​shooting ahead of time. They DO NOT listen. I show up when they tell me and they give me a blank stare cause they didn’t fill the Rx. Twice didn’t even have record of it being ordered when I stood next the exasperated physician ordering the med. ridiculous.

If there were negative stars, I would give this place negative stars. The pharmacy has got to be the worst, let me repeat, the WORST ever. Overbooked and understaffed. You will be on hold forever and when you call in, it transfers you to the call center. Smh. Never again. The pharmacists are not knowledgeable and the techs are not properly trained at all. Did I forget to mention that the pharmacy tech was EATING an apple while helping me in the drive through. Isn’t that against health regulations? I transferred my prescriptions out of the pharmacy and you lost my business. The only decent thing about this Walgreens is the cashier Andre. He is so gracious and I hope he is getting paid well. There is a horrible manager named Cindy a this Walgreens. I will never shop or do business here again. If a district manager sees this review, please contact me. The pharmacy is not run properly. You are losing a lot of customers and ever since the former manager Mitch left the store, the new management has really let the store down.

This has got to be the worst Walgreens in Houston. They never can get the prescriptions correct. If you have a coupon they never have it in the system like most Walgreens. You have to tell them every single time. The drive thru is closed because they always say it is broken, when in fact they don’t want to deal with the drive thru and the pharmacy counter. The staff is rude and and they move at the pace of a snail. I really don’t understand why all the staff including the pharmacy manager are always so incompetent. It’s time I transfer all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Then they tell me to wait while they correct the problem. Once they get it corrected they tell me to get in line and wait again.

This review is for the pharmacy. Lately the quality on this walgreeens has gone downhill. I used to be able to sneak in and out quickly after 8pm on weekday at least, but the last time I stopped in at the drive thru, it took 10 minutes of waiting.
And then I was told they hadn’t filled my prescription yet and that I would need to wait an additional 15 minutes. This was after filling my prescription online and getting an email that it was filled. It wasn’t a time sensitive prescription, so I said I would come back another night. Then I waited another 5 minutes to get my cards back, as the attendant helped another customer. Wtf.
When I went back to get it, I went inside instead. Even longer wait time! The cars pulling up were being helped left and right, but the people standing in line inside were rolling their eyes and waiting forever. I gave up and went thru the drvie through instead. I will be getting this prescription mail ordered from now on.

24 hours? Be prepared to wait that long for someone to even acknowledge you at the drive in. And this for a medication that I’ve requested, and been told twice, that is supposedly «in». Of course there’s no record of the order nor of the lady who allegedly ordered it for me. Twice. Grrrrr.

Poonam is the reason I shop here ! She’s always on top of her customer service skills in the beauty department. She always knows what is going on in the beauty department and makes sure you get the discounted price. She has great work ethic which makes it a great to be able to walk in have great help and be happy with the customer service experience.

Gave it one star because I can’t give no stars. If you call in a refill and ask to speak to a pharmacist you get a ‘call center’. They tell you one thing and if you are lucky enough to get thru to the pharmacist (after being on hold for 20 minutes and being hung up on twice) the pharmacist will tell you something else entirely. I had to wait four days with no meds because their shipment was delayed and transferring the scrip to another store, even another Walgreens here in Houston, was almost as excruciating as ordering it in the first place. Incompetent and poor service all around!

got my flu shot here in under $ 15 mins! theres a min clinic here too and the digital screen tells you what place you are in line for your meds/​apt. Also you can shop for makeup or OTC meds while you wait. Tons of parking and drive through pharmacy is an A+ in my book

The wait here is always extremely, extremely long. Do not come here if you do not have at least an hour to wait in line. The pharmacy staff is not very knowledgeable about medications nor insurance. They always run my insurance incorrectly — every time. Whenever I come here, the customers are always mad because everything is being done incorrectly. I am a transplant patient and it’s necessary for me to have my medications on time. I always order them in advance, and yet it never fails they are always late and done wrong. SO FRUSTRATING!

1. Getting prescriptions here is almost as painful as waiting in line at the post office. Pretty slow.
2. Unless you have a top tier prescription plan, you’ll find your prescription medications to be much cheaper at other pharmacies such as Kroger.

The candy was on sale for $ 0.69 each but when scanned i was charged $ 1.19 for a 2 cup reeses. When I informed my cashier he just shrugged and smiled. I don’t mind the price but the customer service is lacking. Receipt Rfn# 0474−5713−3241−1505−0903

Takes forver to pickup a prescription, I have already been waiting on line more than 30 min.

Bria in the Pharmacy is phenomenal! During my wait in line, I witnessed her handle difficult customers with such ease and a smile. One woman was third in line and began fussing and being rude about the wait directly to Bria. She responded with a genuine polite tone saying she was doing her very best and would help her. Once it was the rude customer’s turn, Bria offered to go above and beyond and provided some advice about the customer’s issue. Bria displayed exemplary levels of customer service. She is efficient and patient all while smiling! I will definitely return for future prescriptions. :)

I spent almost 15 minutes waiting on hold over the telephone to get to the pharmacist to ask that my prescriptions be transferred from across the street from HEB pharmacy. After waiting for 15 minutes, I was disconnected. I called back and had to argue with a technician. I asked to be transferred to a manager, which went to the Walgreen’s call center.
I was then asked for the third time to provide my address and information. The manager told me the issue would be handled that I would be able to pick up my prescriptions in two hours. I arrived at the Buffalo and Bissonnet location three hours later, only to have none of the prescriptions in the system. I then waited for 40 minutes to get the prescriptions filled.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and a bit of INCOMPETENCE. One star is generous for this location.

This is my favorite Walgreens. I know it seems silly to post a review for a chain drugstore, but hear me out: The store and pharmacy are open 24 hours.
There are other reasons I love this place — the pharmacy staff are friendly, the checkout people are friendly, they carry lots of Essie nail polish, etc. but mostly they are conveniently located.

Friendly staff. Great selection. Pharmacy peeps are knowledgeable. Easy pit stop.
