Wonderful Windows & Siding

Let me tell you exactly what will happen when you work with this company. The salesman will give you the impression that you just decided to do business with a respectable and reputable company, but once you sign your contract and give him your 50% down payment you will never hear from him again. Then after a few weeks of wondering why the company hasn’t scheduled anything with you, you will call them and they will give you the runaround on why an installer hasn’t been able to take measurements or why they are behind on the job. After a few more weeks they will continue to give you the runaround and give you more excuses. Save yourself from the headache and do not consider giving these people your business. You are never going to get your windows that they promised you. If you are a sane person like I am, you probably do not want to do business with this company.

Today, 8 months later, I receive a phone call from a 3^rd party company that wants me to give my feedback. Wonderful Windows and Siding shared my information without my consent. I asked the company how they got my information and they said «from Wonderful» with no uncertain terms. So, not only did they completely fail to do the job, they also violated my privacy by disclosing my name and phone number to others.

In 2013 Wonderful Windows & Siding installed new windows in a 75 unit apartment building I was managing. The building was from the 60’s, all brick, and in a not-​so-​great neighborhood. Philip and Kirk came out to give us an estimate and within a week we had signed the contract to go forward with the project. They kept me in the loop while the windows were in production and updated me on the ETA of the windows. They were able to get started on buildings 1, 2, & 3 while the remaining windows were being produced. All in all, the project took only 2 weeks to install. The residents were very happy with the tidiness of the installation process and management was pleased with the speed at which the installers worked. Upon completion, the building took on a whole new look and the management-​paid utilities decreased noticeably. Not only were we impressed with the price and installation, the warranty is outstanding. I had numerous broken windows (a couple due to vandalism, a couple from domestic issues) and the repair technician, Dick, came out in a timely fashion to collect the info he needed to make the repairs. And there were NO costs associated with the repairs even though the damage was a result of our residents’ actions.
Bottom line, I would recommend Wonderful Windows! Very friendly and professional installers, neat work, great warranty, great windows!

Run, run, run from these jokers. Used them after Ike. Some tard came out and quoted me $ 9000 to replace 4 windows and siding for my 700 ft² home. 1 month later the «owner» comes out and gives me some bs about how the guy that came out shouldn’t have offered me that price and how he’s going to lose money. So I agreed to give him more money to simply get the job done, to which he agreed (obviously).
After being «rescheduled» 5 times (1,2,3,4,5 times…) they finally sent someone to do the windows (I received the same excuses about somebody having health problems that others have mentioned in some of the other posts). This, I might add, was 2 ½ months later. 2 of the 4 windows were installed crooked and none of them were caulked in. Needless to say, I pulled them, squared them up and caulked them in myself.
Two weeks later the siding crew comes out. His name was Shane and actually did some decent work. However, he didn’t show up with near the material he needed and when I started asking him about the scope of the project, he told me he had not been informed as to all that was supposed to be done (go figure…). He left and returned the next day and installed everything he and I discussed.
Long story short, extremely long, drawn out process with an extremely unprofessional company. Never again…

They don’t deserve one star but we have to give them a star for a rating. Husband called and made an appointment for an estimate for Tuesday, May 27. He was told at the time that no job was too small and that they had been doing some work in our townhome community currently. They did not arrive, they did not call to let us know that they would not show up. Today, Thursday, May 29, we called a were told by a rep, Tina, that they do not do partial jobs. We had requested siding for just the back of our two-​story townhome and one side of our garage. So apparently they have more work than they can handle at this time. Don’t bother to call them. So there’s no confusion regarding this company’s location. their showroom is on Memorial drive, their warehouse is in Katy.

We made a appoint for an estimate on Tuesday May 27 and no one ever showed up! No one even called us to reschedule or cancel. Not a word on Wed. the 28^th either. So called to day to complain. First it was due to the weather. OK, still does not explain the lack of a phone call! When I pressed the representative, Tina, she told me that they don’t do partial jobs. Even though when we made the appointment we were told, first, they do a lot of work in our townhome complex and two, no job is too small.
Wonderful windows and siding has no excuse for the rudeness and lack of courtesy they have shown us. It appears they have too much business to bother with anyone who is not spending tens or thousands on windows and siding. We can only hope that their poor attitude and poor customer service will come back to bit them.
