There are so many places to eat in Houston, Texas. I have a fondness for a really good sandwich and I will drive FAR if I know its a good sandwich. Luckily, I don’t have to! There’s a little place snuggled in a little strip in North Houston, Greenspoint area, which is 15 minutes from me. ZEROS is the place you want to eat. Their sandwiches are a*******mazing. You do not want to stop eating. All sandwiches(bread included), soups and salads are homemade. Scratch. The owners are amazing people. My husband and I have been going since early 2000’s. We’re regulars and they call us by name and know what we want when we walk in. Please, I implore you, go have a sandwich, soup, anything! Turkey and ham, roast beef… its all mouthwatering!!! Its reasonably priced, you definitely get your money’s worth.

Pretty basic sandwiches but the bread was homemade. It’s a good spot for a quick lunch!

Amazing tha best sandwich I’ve had in my 37 years… they deliver in my area, and they did, but tha minimum was 5 sandwiches… They were nice enough to let me order 2… It was a 20 min ride for tha driver… Yummy!!!

Omg yes. Best sandwich place in the area. Great service. Little mom and pop shop. Love it! Best bread I’ve ever had on a sandwich. I would definitely recommend this place!

Sigh… I really wanted to like this shop but it just didn’t meet my standards. I’m actually surprised that this place had great reviews. The gentleman that took my order was very nice and even gave me a free cookie(which is one of the reasons why I wanted to really like this place) I ordered the chicken sandwich on wheat. I was informed that their bread was made in store so I was looking forward to trying it. The sandwich was mostly bread and hardly any chicken. Hardly any protein! I need GAINZ!!! The bread was good but there was wayyyy to much of it. The cookie was greasy and hardly had any chocolate chips inside. I only took one bite and didn’t care to take another one. I most likely won’t be coming back to this place. I did appreciate the great customer service!

The sandwiches here are basic, yet amazing. Most of the amazingness comes from their bread because the stuff in between are pretty common(i.e. deli meats and regular condiments). I don’t know the name of the bread but it just works so well, especially hot out of the toaster oven. I usually order a large«Zero» sandwich with everything on it. It’s filling and costs just $ 4.99(not including tax) for just the sandwich itself. It comes out hot from the toaster oven and pre-cut in half for you. My sandwich today was so quick out of the toaster oven that I had to put it down a couple of times because it was too hot to hold. It definitely hit the spot though!!! One thing I don’t like is the option to tip the cashier(who is probably the owner). I’m not a fan of places that suggests tipping when there is no service involved. You order at a counter, get your own drinks, clean your own table. Why tip? It just makes you feel like a DB for drawing a big zero on the receipt. Overall, excellent hot sandwiches at a reasonable price.

I have gone to Zero’s many times since I found it a couple of years ago. The owner is very friendly and recognizes me when I come in, which I always like and keeps me coming back at least once a week. They bake their own bread, fresh each day. Their sandwiches are always generously stacked with goodies and never fail to fill me up(even though I always order the small). My two favorite sandwiches are the tuna & cheese and the Zero!

Went to Zero’s with coworkers and I was impressed before i even got my food. Kasey was working the cash register and he was awesome. With me, conversation goes a long way. He was very engaging and I mentioned to him about how I Unilocaled his place. The food was very good. I had the large chicken sandwich, which i could not finish. The service and atmosphere was excellent. If you get a chance, go check out Zero’s. I truly believe you’ll enjoy it. Flawless Victory.

Great employees and food! Everyone is so friendly and really appreciative of the business. The food is amazeballs. I had the large Zero on wheat. The bread is freshly made. It’s all very tasty. It’s comparable to schlotzkys, which I love, but now I love this place even better. It’s a nice small non chain place. I got a large sandwich, chips and drink for under $ 10

It’s Christmas Eve 2014, I stopped by two other restaurants and both were closed. So I visited the Zero’s Sandwich Shop in the Greenspoint Area near where I work. There was not a ton of menu items; however, I went with the Turkey and Cheddar and it was DELICIOUS!!! It looked very much like a Schlotzsky’s sandwich, but was better tasting in my opinion. I bought the combo(drinks and chips) for $ 8.76. The bread is made fresh daily, and was very soft, warm, and delicious!

This place gets busy at lunch time, so you might want to get there early. The bread is similiar to schlotzsky’s bread. I’ve tried the Reuben and Zero sandwiches and they’re delicious.

I got the Reuben while here on my lunch break. Sandwich was stacked well, and all and all a good sandwich. I have had some awesome Reuben’s but this one hold up well. Bread is great, soft, taste fresh but has an awesome toasted crunch to the outside. Will definitely be making another trip for lunch.

I have a brand-new favorite lunch spot, with little choices in the area I stumbled upon zeros and I’m a huge fan! I will definitely be back and have them cater my office lunches.

AVERAGE. Better than subway and that’s about it. The bread is good but not one of the best I have had. Bread is on the sweet side, balances the salty smoked turkey.

I have been going to Zero’s since the 80s, when it used to be on Aldine Bender. They have the best hot sandwiches; it’s the type of bread that they use. The«small» Zero sandwich is the classic sandwich to order. If you’re really hungry, order the«large» Zero sandwich.

Good and fast service. Good but not great food. Clean. Easy parking. My roast beef ssndwich is a bit lacking in the roast beef department. If you are a New Yorker like me, you know what roast beef is supposed to be.

An average sandwich spot for lunch. Line up and order at the register, take a number, and the order comes out. Like every place in the area, huge lunch crowds. A handful of sandwiches. They bake their own bread, which is decent. Most sandwiches come with lettuce, tomato, black olives, and onions. Meatball sub came with portabella mushrooms that are very fresh. Roast beef is just kind of fatty with no flavor. Friendly service, though slow kitchen times compared to some other places around the area. Worlds better than places like Subway, and in this area that is a huge plus.

Zeros has some of the best hot sandwiches in Houston. Certainly the best hot sandwiches in North Houston, by far. Kind of like Schlotzsky’s but a lot better. The Zero sandwich is baked with their wonderful sourdough bread, heaps of meat, cheese, lettuce, olives, tomatoes and dressing. By far, it’s their best sandwich. They also have a number of other sandwiches and a small salad bar, for those seeking a healthy alternative. The Zeros signature sandwich is not a healthy alternative but it is delicious!
