One of my favorite places to visit in Howell. Great drinks, food, and service!
The courtyard is fantastic and the pub provides a brick and mortar interior that is uniquely cozy!

Food was excellent for pub food and portions were good. Drinks were great. Environment is nice — a great pub for good conversation. So glad to have this place in downtown Howell!

Truly wishing I had known about 2 FOG’s sooner… What a great place! My party only had the spinach dip and pretzel for appetizers, and both were fine, definitely no complaints. I’m looking forward to trying other items on their menu. As for the drinks, atmosphere, and service, hands down the best bar I’ve been to in a really, really long time! Drinks were excellent, and the alcohol not skimped on like I’ve experienced with other local establishments. 2 FOG’s is going for a «speak easy» vibe, and they’re hitting the nail on the head with that. Very warm, inviting, cozy, laid back atmosphere, with waitstaff and bartenders who engage in genuine conversation with customers (kudos to Lena, Jill and Jessica for their excellent service last night). Well done, 2 FOG’s! Looking forward to more fun nights at your establishment!

Awesome atmosphere for drinks with friends. Shuffleboard, popcorn, and a unique menu if you are looking for something more substantial.

My wife and I tried this place a couple of times shortly after it opened and were a little disappointed. The menu was very limited and the prices were more Ann Arbor than Howell. But we both heard recent good comments so we decided to give it another go and we were much more impressed this time around. Service was a little slow but it was a laid back post-​holiday evening and that was actually welcomed.
I love the lighting and feel of the bar side of the place but the other side is a bit too bright and rec-​room feeling to me. (I might do something about the doorway into the hallway.. . frost the glass or something, it’s not a great look.)
But those are small nits to pick, this is a nice place for drinks and little something to eat.

This place was hard to find, but the hunt was worth it. You actually enter through the alley behind the building. Gives it a cool speakeasy vibe.
The only negative is that the place is «seat yourself» but there’s no sign so we kind of stood around waiting for someone to acknowledge us. They didn’t so we had to hunt someone down. But once we did find a waiter, he was great. Very attentive and friendly. He also had a bit of a young Tobey McGuire thing going on but that is neither here nor there.
Cocktails: amazing. I had the lemon meringue martini and it was incredible. The graham cracker rim totally made the cocktail. My mister had the Michigan mule and it was out of this world. Tasted like an awesome, grownup Shirley Temple.
We tried the deviled eggs: both the chipotle special and the regular and they were delicious.
I had the chili-​mac and it was very good. BDK had the mini coneys and he said they were delicious.
We also had the Cuban pizza and it was good even reheated the next day.
This place has a great atmosphere, if I’m ever back in Howell, I’ll definitely come back.

Awesome Craft cocktails! Try the Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita! Amazing speakeasy ambience. Nice music. 5 Star personal fun service and attentive owner! Good bar good, charcuterie platter looked good. Wish they had a simple grilled fish or beef to have a healthier option.

So I went to have a quick dinner I loved the chili and I had Mac and cheese it the best in town great prices on everything

Bloody Mary bar was great, the waiter was swamped, so the manager helped our party out. Service with a smile!

Just seen your reply to my original review. I specifically asked for no Seeds and your cook messed up. I had a detailed conversation with the waitress and she agreed no seeds was the way to go. You messed up! The waitress also came to my table and said it was ridiculous that the sandwich wasn’t taken off of my bill. Customer service is number one in any restaurant. We were polite about the whole situation but because of the lack of responsibility on your part you have lost a customer. Your review went from four stars to one from us. Bravo sir! Bravo!

Ambiance is fantastic and is truly a gem hidden in Howell. Great drink and apps although a little on the pricey side.

Great Bloody Mary bar on Sunday! Food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Great atmosphere.

This is our favorite local spot. We’ve selected it for kid free dinners (though you can bring your kids), a place to meet friends and it’s our favorite spot to grab a drink & talk. The atmosphere is amazing. Truly a hidden gem, we are so grateful it belongs to our little town!

Love this place, staff friendly, food high quality. Hardest part is finding the door but worth it!

This rating is based on atmosphere and food. We are not drinkers, but we love to try out new places. This place was recommended to us by a friend. The menu is small, which is fine, but the only side for all sandwiches (no entrees) is coleslaw. The offer appetizers, a steak, sandwiches, a few salads, and dessert.
The atmosphere from the outside looks like you are going through a construction site into a cellar through the back alley. Inside though, is beautiful. Very rustic, custom chairs, a full bar, and tables. It is very nicely done.
The food though needs a lot of revamping. The BBQ sandwich was deplorable. I sent it back. They did offer to replace it, but after seeing for $ 9 I only got a sandwich, I decide to pass and go somewhere else. The service was good, but the food is disappointing. If they can revamp the food, this place will be a hot spot. At least they give you popcorn to munch on.

What a wonderful hidden gem in downtown Howell! My parents enjoyed dinner here a couple months back and when I was in town they arranged to come here for dinner with them and my fiancé’s family. Very cozy atmosphere. Great menu and beer list. Only downside is they don’t formally take reservations but we did call ahead to let them know about our group and they set aside a couple tables. When I am back in town, I’d definitely go again!

The hosts and owners are super friendly. Watch your step! Nice selection of wine, craft beer, cocktails and ‘40s music.
