I have been coming to this pizzeria for a many years. I have either purchased the pizza or the dough, which is the best I’ve had so far! The garlic knots are slamming! My mother, who is from Italy, loves their dough also and she is a critical Italian when it comes to food. I recently went there for dine in and it was delicious. Food was fresh, hot, and brought to us on time! Everyone loved their meals. It is a family restaurant and has a nice family feel. They were very accommodating and the waitress was very attentive and spoke Italian to my mother, which was great! Will definitely go back!

This place is great with good Italian food. Great size portions. Very very friendly service. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. We ordered artichoke francaise, chicken francaise, chicken parm, and a pizza. Everything was delicious.

Really happy with this place. Capricci has been my goto delivery food besides Chinese in Howell. Everything we have ordered has shown up hot and delicious. The Eggplant Rolatini was excellent, as well as the Chicken/Veal Parmigiana dishes, hot/cold heroes and salads. One thing I really enjoy on the menu is the Avocado Salad with Grilled chicken with house balsamic. They give you an option as well for Spring Mix Greens. It’s an excellent healthier option and is still delicious Another positive is the online ordering. It’s very convenient and works very well. My only negative was one order I received a lunch portion not a dinner portion salad, however they remedied the situation quickly and delivered me the correct size salad. An excellent choice in the Howell area for a goto Italian eat in/delivery place.

We did order from here regularly when we have company over once a week. Has gone progressively down hill each week. Last order was so bad and by far the worst yet. Let them know and the manager was soooo rude to my wife about the whole thing. They were supposed to come pick the food back up and blew it off. Well we dropped the food off to them the next day. My wife did go And drop off the food the next day. She spoke to the owner who refunded the cost of the food we brought back. He was very apologetic. Hopefully they can get back on track with consistency.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and the décor inside the restaurant. The restaurant is located in a strip mall tucked into what appears to be a small pizzeria. When you enter you walk through the counter area of a typical pizzeria and are seated in a side room that is large and well decorated, not typical at all for this type of place. After being seated the waiter brought over some fresh focaccia bread that was really light and tasty, a good start. The salad was a little weak, it could have been better. We ordered the calamari with balsamic and cherry peppers as an app. The flavors were good and the portion was generous. My wife had linguine and clams in a red sauce that was a dinner special. A dozen clams or more were included and my wife said it was really tasty. I had chicken parm served with ziti. Nothing fancy, there were 2 pieces of chicken that were freshly cooked, not pre-fried and reheated so that was good. It appeared to me they used sliced mozz though, it would have been so much better with fresh mozz. The ziti served with my meal tasted as if it was precooked and reheated. That’s one thing I hate. How long does it take to cook pasta fresh? 20 minutes? That may work for a pizzeria but not in a restaurant. For that reason alone it didn’t get 5 stars. The service was very good, our waiter and another young lady were always nearby if anything was needed. Overall I very nice place and well worth another visit.

Surprise its really good! I mean this in the most honest way possible. For one thing this«not so little» restaurant has mixed reviews and I find it odd that they are so vast in the review area. So the family and I gave it a shot– dinner in and take out 4 times. First its hidden in the back of a small plaza by Sonics, so you need to look for it. Second its kinda big inside– it has the general pizza tables inside for a quick bite but then it has a restaurant in the back that plays decent music not too loud and the arrangement is nice. Third the coupons are a good deal, so use them. I keep forgetting Wait staff– nice. Easily offered suggestions and explained they offer family style serving as well as individual. Mini-Me and I had personal pizzas, son had chicken cacciatore, hubby had a calzone– a medium was plenty. All was very tasty brought out at one time and there the refills on the beverages without having to waive them down. The desserts looked pretty good but we were full. For take out– its obviously pies and we picked up.

Great food. The delivery driver Joe was very courteous and had the food hot to my house in what felt like no time. I would definitely suggest having Joe as your delivery driver.

SLOW. Amazing food, but by the time it gets to you(assuming you’re having it delivered) it’s soggy. It’s unfortunate. The menu is great and has so many choices for everyone, but I recommend picking it up yourself.

Real Italian Food. Capricci is clean and the dining room is beautiful. We were immediately greeted and quickly seated. We were dining with our two small children and an attentive waitress took our drink order and brought warm bread to our table. The children’s food was brought out first while we enjoyed a fresh, delicious house salad, dressing on the side. I don’t typically use dressing, but it was incredible. I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered eggplant rollatini. It may have taken a minute or two longer than expected for our meals, but we were enjoying ourselves and once the food arrived, we understood why… This is real, fresh Italian food with rich flavor. Our meals tasted as if my grandmother cooked them on a Sunday afternoon; homemade Italian. I read the other reviews and I am not certain where they ate. The food served at Capricci is homemade Italian. Eric introduced himself to us and made sure we were happy with the meal and our service. I would recommend Capricci for families, a romantic night out or catering your next party. We will definitely be back(next week :)

It was brought to my attention that my original review was removed and I’m not sure why. People need to be made aware of the cleanliness of places they are looking to eat. A friend of mine literally had maggots in her salad from Capriccis. The owner, Eric knows about this situation and has tried to cover it up but it is something that has stopped me from ever eating there again when I used to be a weekly customer out of convenience. I used to think that their food was decent but they used far too much garlic where I always felt sick after but now I’m terrified that I felt sick from something else. This is not someplace I would trust to eat, and I hope the owner does something about it to make it better for any of his future customers.

This past weekend my mom threw me a surprise bridal shower at Capricci restaurant, and it could not be more perfect. The food was outstanding, the wait staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the owners were beyond accommodating! I would by far recommend having a party at Capprici’s. We have been customers for years and were beyond impressed! Their back room is gorgeously decorated! Highly recommend!!!

We tried the restaurant dinning tonight. The food was fantastic. I had the salmon special and my had the lasagna. We started with an appetizer of the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. The presentation and flavor were very good from start to finish. The dinning is a nice find and you will be pleasantly surprised. We will be coming back!

I just tried takeout from this place for the first time tonight and ordered a meatball parm sub. That was all, one thing, just the sub, at 8pm on a Wednesday night. When we got it home it was a plain old meatball sub, no parm, and it was gross– stale bread and salty frozen meatballs with marinara that did not do anything to make the rest of the sub taste better. So not only did they mess up the order but I could barely eat it. Ick. Will never order from them again!

The owner Eric told me I was WASTINGHISTIME when I called to complain about a delivery being over 30 minutes late. I was a great customer, but their customer service is the worst I’ve seen in the industry… Such terrible attitudes that I will never support this business ever again

This place is so great! My husband and I love to go here and have their panini’s. Every time we go, I try a different one and each of them has been fantastic. They prepare everything right before they put the sandwich together. So no cold gross chicken sitting on the counter waiting(think Subway). The thing about this place that makes me sad is that you can’t see it really. It is hidden in the corner of a plaza that has a vets office, a chinese food place and some other things. The plaza is behind the PNC bank and Sonic in Howell on Route 9. They are always busy so I guess them being hidden isn’t hurting them any, so that’s nice! If you are in the area and are looking for an awesome sandwich try this place!

Surprisingly good food. (This review is for the dining room) Food: Very good. They have the basic Italian-American dishes, but also some with a creative flair. (They have a dining room menu that I couldn’t find on the website) Price: Very reasonable. Service: Friendly. Atmosphere: Nicer dining room than you would expect in a pizza parlor. BYOB I think it’s rare to find such good food with a creative touch in a dining room connected to a pizza joint. As a mater of fact, this beats out most stand-alone restaurants. I will go back. P. S. Use Mapquest for location, Google Maps gets it wrong.

I’m writing a 2013 update so as to flush out my Unilocal 100 so wanted to capture yet another great visit to the new Capricci dining room. Eric, the owner, is planning on additional tweaks to the menu, so be sure to try the seafood appetizer with pesto and crostini(really good), the rigatoni with mint and eggplant, chicken marco polo, and pizza with roasted red pepper sauce, eggplant and fresh mozzarella(kick myself for not trying this sooner). Fried calamari with cherry peppers and balsamic was a special recently and I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed on it making the new menu. Prices are surprisingly cheap and belie the huge portions.
