Best Mexican food EVER!!! So many choices just in the meats alone. Very polite wait staff & very delicious food. I have been here numerous times & honestly it is a pretty far distance from my area but sooooo worth it!

Great, authentic Mexican food and convenient location. We have been looking for good Mexican food for years in New Jersey and haven’t been able to find it until we tried Juanito’s! They have a convenient take out pick up area and are always very friendly and efficient. We order take out about once a week and they always get our order correct and prepared quickly. The enchiladas are the best and the rice and beans are the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. I recommend Juanito’s to everyone I know locally and bring my family every time they are visiting.

The food was surprisingly good. I had an enchilada with strips of beef and although they gave me the wrong sauce. Wanted salsa verde and they gave me a red sauce but was very good. There was an odd smell in the place when we came in but seemed to disappear after a while. If I were in the area I would consider trying this place again.

To all of you bitching about how expensive this restaurant is, you don’t know what’s good for you. This is a good quality restaurant worth the price. If you wanna be cheap and complain about the price, take your cheap ass to taco bell and go eat your nasty processed road kill.

This place can be deceiving if you don’t know the area very well. It’s on highway and can be confused for just another restaurant and let me tell you if far from your every day Mexican food. The food here is Very Fresh, as a cook you can always tell when food is freshly made or pre made and this is all fresh and made too order. The salsa is was good and the guacamole was just amazing! And made to order by your server which is a nice touch as you can choose to have it spicy or mild. Enchiladas with Chicken is what I had and it was the best ones I have had from any Mexican restaurants I have visited. Rice and refried beans were good and sour cream was made in house and delightful. My visit here was surprising and excellent! A definite recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I’ve read reviews that were raving and then those that bluntly said I’d be better off going to the Taco Bell across the street. My family and I had a great experience! In this area, there’s a dearth of good Mexican food. This place certainly makes up for it. The décor was bright and inviting and the restaurant was very busy — always a good sign! The staff was attentive to our orders and did not rush us at all. They brought out chips and salsa to begin. We got our wine bottles uncorked and then ordered the queso and grilled chicken fajitas. The queso did not meet the expectations of some that I’ve tried for example, in Texas, but it was one of the better ones I’ve had in NJ. It was topped with spinach and arrived on a sizzling platter. The chicken for the fajitas was tasty and the dish came with rice, refried beans, fresh salsa and guacamole. We combined everything in a warm tortilla and it turned out to be comforting and delicious! We finished our meal with the flan, which had a great softness to density ratio. I was disappointed that the whipped cream was regular canned whipped cream and not fresh… If you’re craving Mexican food and a comforting vibe surrounded by friendly staff and several local families, this spot is it. It’s reasonably priced and the BYOB factor is great!

Disappointing to say the least. This is a place I have been going to for more than a few years. So do lunch I just paid $ 13 for 4 shrimp fajita with 3 tortillas and they had the nerve to charge me an extra $ 1 for 3 more tortillas. Food quality is mediocre and it’s not as clean as it used to be. Sorry Juanita’s but there are better Mexican options for a much better dollar value.

My husband and I love Juanito’s! It is our go to spot for delicious authentic Mexican food. They always have delicious seafood options and the menu is huge. I love the steak tacos, they are very simple and traditional and you can get a combination of meats if you like. The service is great and its a very comfortable laid back atmosphere, you can pretend you’re in Mexico for a while ;)

The food is so authentic and fresh. You get great portions for the price. The staff is very friendly as well and they give great recommendations. I just can’t stand the location of this place with the small parking being wedged between Rt. 9 and Aldrich, but I get over it just for them! Don’t change a thing.

Favorite Mexican place in New Jersey. Everything I’ve tried so far had been great. Even the complimentary salsa is made well.

My wife and I came in for lunch. We were seated quickly and offered beverages right away. Chips and salsa were tasty and fresh. My wife had a vegetable burrito. She ordered medium and it came out mild, but it was very good. I ordered lamb fajitas and I was impressed! The lamb was tender and they managed to carmelize the onions, nice job. Rice and other sides were very good. For this particular visit we did not bother with desert because we were full, the portions are large! The place needs a little sprucing up. Maybe some new ceiling tiles, chairs and that sort of thing. Note that it appeared clean, just outdated.

Came here for the first time and it was great! The food was honestly delicious and the portions were very filling. My only complaint is that it was a bit pricey.

Absolutely Delish… From the Guacamole made at the table to the entrees, everything was spectacular. I have been to the other Juanitos in Red Bank and expected nothing less than very good, but I enjoyed this location even more than the Red Bank one. The Burritos had an excellent filling(not just overstuffed with rice). The combination entrees were done just as well as anything else we had ordered not to mention its a good way to sample a few different things. The rice and beans were well flavored. The highlight on the table was the duck special. Im not sure what sauce is on the duck, but it was incredible. We asked for some sauces on the side, and each one had its own great qualities. If you are looking for a good Mexican spot, this place is a must try.

Delicious food, and fast. Big portions for the price and close to my new home. I’ve had juanitos in red bank and this is just as wonderful. Try the chipotle cream sauce. My boyfriend had the mole both delicious. We also had the appetizer Espinosa con queso… Delicious like a homemade Mexican quesadilla. Plenty of leftovers for tomorrow I’m stuffed!
