Established in 1986.

www​.Mur​phys​Fish​Taxi​dermy​.com started in Rockford, IL in 1986, and transferred to South East Michigan in 1987. I continue to work only with fish. Presently, taxidermy is a hobby business for me. In-​Fisherman Magazine recently published a short news brief on my www​.FishUrns​.com site.

I started mounting fish when I was 14 years old. I worked for other taxidermists while I was in college, and started my own business in 1986.

My favorite fish to paint is a Smallmouth Bass. My least favorite fish to mount is a Black Crappie. I enjoy creating very realistic scenes for a mounted fish display.
