Always been confused by the hype surrounding Francesco’s. I’ve been living in Hubbard for the last 6 years and I think it’s pretty mediocre. It might be good if it were located somewhere else, but landing about 15 minutes from tons of much much much better Italian food makes it terribly underwhelming. I mean, it’s Youngstown for God’s sake; if you come here you’re not trying.

Top-notch Italian food. The pizza is large slices of thin crust with tons of flavor and amazing cheese. The calzone is one of the best I’ve ever had; I love that it’s filled with hot, molten ricotta. Even other menu items, like the roast beef sandwich, are delicious. My one complaint would be that it’s small on the inside, and service can be slightly slow.

I don’t know what they do to their hot pepper pizza, but it is NOT good. Mediocre at best. Must be a Hubturd thing.

Traveling through the area and stopped in. Had pasta. Sauce, pasta and salad were very good. Service was fine. Neighborhood and atmosphere were lacking.

The food here is terrific! I love the Italian submarine sandwich here, my absolute favorite thing. You really can’t go wrong with any of the food options here. The staff could check on you more often then the do. Like instead of every 20+ mins, try 10-. Just to make sure everything’s good and dandy! Unfortunately this restaurant does not deliver, but if they did they’d make some serious money. But all they have for now is dine in and pick up orders. I would recommend dine in. Hope you like it here! I know me and my family did!

The fish and onion rings were delicious. Also enjoyed the fresh, hot bread appetizer and coleslaw. My buddy had the pulled pork sandwich and loved it. Were busy on Friday night and had to wait a while for our order.

Excellent pizza! Great service. Of course we overate. Two thin crust pizzas, one pepperoni and the second with meatballs and sausage. The folks I was with had meatball pizza for the first time and did not enjoy it but I attribute this to a character flaw and not the quality of the meatballs!

I love the food here. The strombolis are fresh made, huge, and delicious. They have a variety of salads that are pretty good. My favorite menu item is the baked ziti. I try to support local businesses as much as possible, but if I order from here again it will be carry out. I’ve only once been satisfied with the dine-in service and tonight I left disgusted. I went in with a baby and asked for a high chair. I was told there was one at the end of a narrow long hallway. Apparently I I was to get it myself. Before we left, a group of african anerican teen athletes came in and sat down. I swear the server told another server not to worry about them. It really seemed to me that she was refusing to wait on them. If that was the case, shame on Francesca’s! If you only want to wait on the tables that tip well, food service might not be for you.

Was not a good experience. Pizza was just ok, food bland, very small inside and rude customer service. I expected more.

If you like NY style thin crust, this is the place for you. Pizza is excellent. Try their subs. The bread in very unique.

Francescos is a staple in Hubbard, never have a bad meal. Better subs than subway.

I’ve died and gone to cheese heaven. How? By eating a cheese calzone at Francesco’s! My boyfriend grew up here and he loves the Stromboli so much that he’s never even tried the pizza — or much of anything else for that matter! Also, he’s unable to be satisfied by any other Stromboli anywhere else. I thought the stromboli was quite good — but you have to be mentally prepared for the amount of meet in this thing. I found it to be delicious but rich. When our waitress described it as coming in «4 pieces» I assumed the pieces would be maybe 1 by 3 inches or something like that. Instead I think each piece was at least 3 – 4 inches square. The calzone was similarly giant and looked a bit like a cresent roll on steroids. If this doesn’t convince you to drive to Hubbard, Ohio, maybe the incredibly low price will…
