230 Allen Street Bed & Bath

Charming Victorian home in the center of hudson. Hosts Jeff and Rob are friendly made me feel at home from the minute I walked in. I look forward to coming back.

I stayed here for a long weekend and could not have been happier with the accommodations. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. I stayed in the upstairs suite with the private bathroom and it was a wonderful private oasis. Jeff and Rob, the proprietors, were welcoming and helpful and made many great suggestions of shops, restaurants, and activities in the area. This B&B is just a short walk away from all of the best places in town. The house dog, Shelby, is adorable and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it!

This nicest vacation we’ve taken so far in New York has been with the help of Rob, Jeff and Shelby at 230 Allen Street. Hudson is cool and groovy anyway, but what makes the difference is this excellent Bed and Bath. The home is airy and well decorated, only 2 blocks away from Warren, the mile long strip of some of the best antiquing and foodie destinations in NY. We stayed in the upstairs suite with the dedicated bath, but the downstairs would have been fine also. We were made welcome from the moment we stepped into the home, arriving late but Rob was very nice about it. We made the acquaintance of Shelby, the very friendly house pooch. Rob and Jeff took time to outline some of the places to visit and provided us with a useful map. In the morning, Jeff made great coffee and had pastries on hand from Le Perche, a local French restaurant and patisserie. The value is amazing… you get to stay in a beautiful home with all the amenities at a price that beats any local accommodation. BTW, excellent wifi. We regretted leaving this restful and hospitable B&B, but now we can look forward to a return.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and loved it! The house itself is so beautiful and historic! We stayed in the one room without an inclusive bathroom, and the accommodation was still great. The owners were extremely helpful and sweet and had great suggestions for activities and restaurants in Hudson. You should stay here!!!
