Hudson K-9 Training

When we first brought home our 5 month old APBT my husband and I were at odds. He didn’t know anything not even a name so he was practically wild. We went to work with a sigh of relief just to be away from him. It was up to me where we wanted to go for training and I was looking all over. I was so close to signing up for Petsmart just to save the extra money that I thank my stars everyday that I didn’t. I really disliked treat/​clicker training and you won’t find that here at Hudson K9.
The first thing you do is bring your dog in to be evaluated. I was so nervous because I was already have problems with Dex and I couldn’t get him to listen or do anything. Hudson K9 are miracle workers. In no time he was sitting and downing and even going for walks. He used to put on the brakes and refuse to move but with HK9’s guidance we were walking like pro’s in no time.
We had such good results with Dex that we decided a few years later to get another dog. We’e already worked our way up to 4 intermediate classes and they’re doing so well off-​leash. We recently got a puppy and she’s just about finished with basic obedience class and it’s like night and day. It’s great to be able to go back to basic and get a refresher for the puppy. I remember all these things we should be doing that our other dogs do without having to ask. It’s an amazing experience and the results are spectacular.
I highly recommend Hudson K9. Lori and Ramon make you feel so comfortable and take the time to show you how and when and what to do in certain situations. They’ll answer any questions you have no matter how ridiculous you may think they are.
All in all, if you have a dog, look no further. As long as you put in the work you’ll be pleased with the outcome!

We decided it was time that our Boston Terrier learned some manners and learned how to play nice with other dogs. We had a consultation last week, and Ramon made us feel so at ease! He was extremely thorough with his evaluation. I was relieved to know that our dog was NOT aggressive but just insecure and nervous. He also has about 20 years of experience with dog training all kids of dogs (including police dogs), so that also made me feel confident we picked the right trainer!
Hudson K9 offers a basic 6-​week obedience class to start with– $ 200 for group (2 – 4 dogs) or $ 300 for private training, so really affordable. They also hold classes on the hour starting at 10AM and last one at 7PM, so reallly convenient schedule!
Once we start our classes, I will be sure to follow-​up with additional updates on how our Boston Terror– I mean Terrier– is doing!
