Consistently inconsistent! We order take out from here a couple of times a month and occasionally it is great and our order is correct, but mostly it’s terrible… missing things from our order(that we were charged for), food that is prepared incorrectly(today for example my Tuscan Fresca was swimming in oil and missing whatever else they normally put it, had TONS of red onions and 1 – 2 pieces of tomatoes and spinach). Very disappointing.

I’m here on business and needed a place in the area to stop for lunch. We have these places back in Michigan and it sounded good. I came in and was pleasantly greeted. My order was taken with professionalism and in a thorough manner. I was given Number 34 and I headed for a beverage. I don’t really drink most sodas so I was pleased they had some unsweetened Honest Tea. It was refreshing. Even better was their sweetener was Stevia In the Raw. More places need to use this over the aspartame stuff and even Splenda. After sitting, my food came out quick. I had a large Penne Rosa with some of that Pita Bread and a small Chicken Noodle Soup. It was a lot of food for me in the long run but besides the large mushrooms I don’t care for, there was nothing amiss with my meal. The person who brought me my food was kind, the person who took my plate was kind. It was a great experience for an out of towner like me but it’s nice that locals have this place. If I’m ever back here for work, I’ll remember this place. Give it a try! Oh, and the grilled chicken is very good. I’ve gone with the parmesan crusted stuff before but it’s much fattier for you and I found the grilled is still just as delicious.

WTH? Have been to noodles many times with good results– this location epic fail! My pasta had burn marks, and the Parmesan chicken was old and badly burned. Literally 2 chunks of tomatoes and 1 mushroom.

Traveling for work, stumbled upon this. Fresh, V options, inexpensive. Service was really good, tho it is a place where you place you order at the same time you pay for it, not a full service restaurant. Immediately, I checked for any locations in my home town. Definitely would come here again!

Every time my wife and I have eaten here, the one common factor is that the place is dirty and messy. Last time we showed up at 4:30 in the afternoon. There were 3 other customers sitting at the tables and at least 4 employees standing behind the register. We wanted to eat outside, but all of the tables had dirty dishes on them. I asked someone to clean up a table and 10 minutes later they finally showed up. Then they use the same rag to clean all of the tables without rinsing it or using some type of sanitary spray. Even the quality of the food was mediocre. I had the peanut sauté and there was very little sauce in it. My wife had the Bangkok Curry and there was little flavor. This is a poor example of the chain and hopefully their corporate office sees these comments. There is no excuse for the dirty floors and tables, especially when there are very few customers and it is off peak. Will not eat here again.

We came a year ago and the place was busy and messy, but thought we’d try again this year after out kids finished camp. It was crazy messy again– food on the floor, none of the tables bussed, people getting cold food. The Noodles in Highland Park is so consistently good. Amazing how this one is so different. Our food was fine and we ate outside at clean tables– the only reason they get 3 stars.

i have to mention my most recent experience of my good old standby Noodles. I got my noodles to go last week. Two simple orders and arrived back at home only to find a combination in both bowls of both orders. Weird things must have been going on back at the kitchen of Noodles. I have never had this happen before but the two different dishes just don’t work together. I don’t think Feta cheese pairs well with the Spicy peanut dish and my Tuscan Whole Wheat Pasta was missing some veggies and had big ass chunks of carrots in it from the Peanut Dish. I was let down and disappointed. I did notify the company and have yet to hear back –When I frequent a chain establishment I am expecting consistency to a degree. Quick way to break my noodle addiction is to start f’n up my order!

Does this really qualify as fast food? If it does, then it’s definitely the best around. My son and I eat here every Saturday and always have a great meal with excellent service. I love their food choices and their atmosphere. The staff is always smiling. Once, we came later when it was busy, and ended up waiting a while for our food. I knew they were busy so I didn’t mind — my son and I were discussing space rockets and were in no huge hurry. When our food did arrive, it was perfect and the lady brought my son a free cookie and thanked him for being so patient. Wow! Side note: To the guy behind the counter a few weeks ago who, noticing a growing line of cold, hungry people waiting to order, pretended to answer the phone, «Hello, Jimmy John’s!», you totally got me there. Thanks for the laugh!
