Rhizome specializes in digital and print advertising, from single audience-​specific deliverables to wide-​ranging and multi-​asset projects.

Websites:

We build beautiful sites that tell a story, your story. Our sites are interactive, connect to social-​media and are designed to specific performance specifications.

Full-​Service Design:

We create single design assets like business cards, invitations, infographics, packaging, presentations, gifs, photographs, fliers, brochures, media mailers, stationary… If you can dream it up, we can produce it.

Events:

We love designing event media. We do in-​space designs, event collateral, invitations, and everything else your event planner can imagine. And we make sure everything that is seen, smelt or touched is part of an integrated ‘event brand’.

It all begins and ends here. If you can’t talk clearly, concisely and in the language and tone of your clients, how can you offer effective design? Rhizome puts ‘effective communication’ in front of every project, client and e-​mail.

History

Established in 2013.

We started small, with Rhizome being the design house of a single designer, Jonathan Taee. We have now grown to take on new clients and design specialists. We now work on large, multi-​asset and full branding projects, bringing in experts in website, branding and social media design.

Meet the Business Owner

Jonathan T.

Business Owner

Jonathan has over 12 years experience in print, web, film and photography design. Having managed and taught in the Digital Media Department of the University of Virginia, USA, he specializes in multi-​platform integration and has a deep understanding of many professional design applications.

With a PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK, in his back pocket, he brings a rigorous attention to detail and process to all of Rhizome’s projects. Enterprising and tactical in work approach, Jonathan knows how to structure, deliver and complete large-​scale projects on budget and on time.

Jonathan has also launched and sold a successful start-​up company, offering unparalleled business experience, including branding and marketing, budget management and communications. Having been on the client side, he understand the needs of businesses and their hard working staff.

He now lives in Hudson, NY, with his farmer wife and first newborn child.
