We drove the 20 minutes to Huffman to try out this cozy place because of all the good reviews we saw.
We loved how small and quaint it was! The ambiance was great. Not too quiet that we were worried about bringing our 18 month old (who shouted a few times) but just quiet enough we could have a normal (inside voice) conversation.
The service was great! Attentive but not constantly over our shoulders (thank you Bryce! You were a great waiter!!)
Food was delicious! My son had pizza for the first time and he loved it! My husband had the meatball sandwich which he loved too (and he can be a tough critic sometimes). I went old fashioned with shrimp Alfredo and that was just as yummy!
We look forward to coming back!

OMG! I came here based on a recommendation from someone on FB and I am so happy I did! I do not live in the area… matter of fact we drove 35 min to come here for a date night… and I will be back for sure! The place is well hidden so look for Big D’s Pizza sign and its the very corner of a L shape shopping center. The place is very small and quaint. Our server was a young man and he was very nice. I ordered the chicken venito and holy smokes! It was no shit the best chicken dish I have eaten in a long long time! It was a mushroom and bacon jalapeño cream sauce and it was so so good. My husband ordered something off the menu because we happen to see a pic of it on Unilocal and they were sooooo accommodating. It was chicken scampi and he was a huge fan of it too. If you are in the area and looking for a lunch or dinner spot you need to check this place out.

An excellent meal! So happy to have them in the area. The pesto salad dressing is delish!!! I had the chicken piccata, tons of capers, great sauce, perfect crispy thin chicken. We will be back regularly. Oh, and great congenial service, it’s been awhile since I have dined anywhere with such genuinely friendly and conversational staff.

We dined on a Friday night. It was busy but we were seated right away and service was excellent. Started with the Calamari and I have to say, I have never had it cooked so perfectly. Not over battered and vey light and tender. I had the Mahi Mahi with mango, which was the special. Also cooked to perfection and the flavors were so distinct.
The kids had cheese pizzas handmade and a tender but slightly crispy crust. Don’t forget desert! We had tiramisu and cheesecake. Both were light and had intense flavors.
The staff and owners are warm and friendly. Huffman is very lucky to have a place like this. It’s easily the best Italian I have had in ages. Being reasonably priced is a big bonus. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town.

Finally, a good Italian restaurant east of lake Houston. They are some of the staff from the now closed Hasta la Pasta. Small place, gets crowded quickly. Greeted with some tasty garlic bread and complementary wine. (Until they get their license). I ordered the chicken parmesan, while my lovely lady decided to try the eggplant parmesan. Both dishes came out promptly. The chicken had a nice crust that held up to the marinara, while the chicken itself was tender. Served with your choice of pasta, made for a filling and enjoyable meal. Her eggplant was also cooked nicely, having just enough crust to not get squishy from the sauce. While the good food would tend to lead to cleaning your plate, leave some room for dessert. They are made on the premises and the death by chocolate was to die for. (Sorry I had to). Please support this place. I am tired of having to drive 40 minutes for good Italian food.

Returned (again) to Marsalas for dinner with my husband and once again 5 Stars! Susan was our waitress and she was outstanding. Isaac as always greeted us like old friends at the door. We had a great meal and took home a Death By Chocolate dessert for our daughter. Since our last visit we have taken advantage of the Family Dinner for 4 carry out that they offer. We opted for the lasagna and as always we were not disappointed. Great food, great service AND another family dinner option for home! We are very happy that Marsalas has come to Huffman!

Today my son and I ate at Marsalas. We both had the chicken picatta which was really good.
We also got desert to go. My son got a cannaloni and I got the death by chocolate. My son’s desert was really good. But, I was very disappointed by mine. The cake part tasted like a very hard, dry brownie. I actually threw it away after a couple bites.
I’m still a fan of marsalas. Most of the food is very good. That particular desert definitely needs help though.

The food is absolutely incredible! I went with a group of 9 ladies… we were all extremely happy with our food. I got the Salmon Tuscany-OMG! It was delicious!!! We all ate the MUST HAVE desert «Death by Chocolate». I have never heard so many ooohs and awwws!

Fantastic food and service. Our server was great and very attentive. Isaac, one of the owners, was around talking to every table to make sure everything was good. I had the Di Mare and the tomato basil soup (my favorite). Everyone in my family that ate LOVED their food. Definitely come check out this restaurant. They’re definitely worth it!

New place in town, heard about it on FB and decided to try it out today. Its a lot like the place that closed across the lake not long ago… one of my wife’s favorite restaurants. We went in for lunch today, I had the chicken parm. Everything about it was great, the chicken, the pasta. They have not been open long and once the kinks are worked out. it will get a 5 star rating from me… I am sure I will be back.
