History

Established in 1976.

The Design Factory started business on a kitchen table! Carol’s years of experience working in design in California and in Florida with clients such as Ringling Bros Circus and Disney gave her an excellent insight for creating unique signs. We continue that today

Business Owner

Carol Hodges studied graphic design in college and has worked for design companies in California and Florida including Disney.

After moving to East Texas, she felt there was a need in the area for a sign company that could do custom carved and routed signs. The business started in her kitchen and has taken off in many directions since. We offer many options besides custom carved and routed signs, but each design is uniquely created for the individual customer with their specific needs in mind.
