Chez nous is a modern French Restaurant where traditional French cuisine meets the needs of the American market. Chez nous is renowned in its new world interpretation of the Parisian classics. The seasonal menus are created by Chef Stacy Simonson and highlight the fine locally produced ingredients served in an elegant yet casual setting. Specialities include Foie Gras, Charcutiere, Rack of Lamb, Duckling, and Souffles, just to name a few.
History
Established in 1984.
Chez nous was established in September of 1984 in a renovated Church in the quaint town of Humble, Texas. Founded on the tradition of sturdy French cuisine and discreet yet attentive service, Chez nous attracted the attention of critics throughout Houston and the US. Nationally recognized with Zagat since 1987 and to our current status of Top 100 Restaurants in the United States according to OpenTable diners reviews.

Business Owner
Chef Stacy Simonson has been with Chez nous since 1993, starting as a kitchen «commis», eventually moving into the role of Sous Chef to founder Chef Gerard Brach. In 1998 Stacy and her future husband Scott moved to France to live with Chef Brach’s Father and work in the Perigord region of the Dordogne Valley. Upon returning to the States, Stacy lived in San Diego and worked with The Marine Room in La Jolla, Vignola in Downtown and Private Catering. In 2001 Stacy returned to Chez nous and continued her training along side Chef Brach until being handed the reigns in 2006.
