Specialties
Darolyn and her family offer their national and world-class endurance horses for both pleasure trail riding and competitive endurance riding instruction.
History
Established in 1974.
Cypress Trails was first just a private horse farm. The owner, Darolyn Butler, started giving Endurance Riding Clinics and taking in a few boarders over the years. In 1998, after selling Horseman Video Showcase, her video production business, she started a full fledge «Trail Riding» business where she offered not only lessons, but trail rides from 1 hour to all day. Lunch rides, Parties, and Team Building affairs for other businesses rounded out a very complex horse operation. Darolyn is an avid competitor in the sport of Endurance Riding, which is much like a human marathon, but done in natural settings for 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles «in a day» race competition. She has ridden over 35,000 miles of competition, and holds the world record in races of 100 miles in a day.
If you desire to get in the intense sport of Endurance, or just go for a relaxing horseback ride for an hour, Cypress Trails Equestrian Center is the place to go. Own your own horse? Do it at Cypress Trails.
