Recently stayed here to avoid having to drive back to Houston after a wedding. The hotel is new located right on FM1960. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. However, the price of $ 150/night was a little steep for a Holiday Inn Express in Atascocita.

Very impressed! I never stay at Holiday Inns or Expresses but didn’t really have a choice this night. Very new property. Clean and contemporary interior. Even their free breakfast was better than other mid-tier hotel chains free breakfast. I’d definitely stay here again.

Pretty standard holiday in express. Hotel seems to be almost new, so no problems with the rooms. Nice pool, plenty of parking, and nice weight room. Only problem is the internet is very slack. I keep loosen service in my room. Hopefully they fix this issue

Very nice(and new) hotel. Since they are new, they have some kinks to work out. Firs the pros… Comfortable and inviting room. Nice TV with DirecTV service and lots of channels — including many movie channels. Internet was pretty good. Ample parking, clean lobby and breakfast area. Typical breakfast for an HIE — nothing special. Items to work on: Coffee — below average and weak. I have a Swiss friend that says Americans make coffee by holding a coffee bean up to the sun casting a shadow over a cup of hot water. I believe this place makes that joke relevant. IHG Member Recognition — much improvement needed. No welcome gift — water bottle or snack. Front Desk Staff — if the owner is reading this, please pay attention here. EVERY time a guest enters or leaves, the staff at the front desk should welcome them or send them on their way with a pleasant comment. I was here 3 nights — and came and left maybe 10 times. Only twice did the staff say something. With all this said, I will be back. It’s a solid hotel wi great potential and plenty of food and shopping choices nearby.

Nice modern looking motel but only because it is brand new. The rooms have a musty smell and everywhere else smells like strong paint. The coffee in the lobby is horrible. And they are supposed to offer guest free bottles water upon entrance just as it says on the the display on front desk, but when u ask for water they say no that’s just for a display purposes even if you are a rewards member. The breakfast spread seemed really nice, they have an automatic pancake machine, cool right? Never mind it’s been out of order the whole time we have been here. The pool is nice bc is it salt and not chlorine. The rooms get very hot at night and they thermostats are blocked at the setting of 68 even though it feels more like 75 in the room. The AC fan is incredibly loud. The water in the shower is beyond soft, it takes about ten minutes just to wash the soap off your hands and face MUCH longer for hair and body. They give you a code to log into the wifi but the second you step inside your room the signal is so weak it fades out. So bring your own wifi connection if possible otherwise you will spend a lot if time trying to get work done either in the hallway or the lobby.
