I didn’t receive the best service from employees when I was selecting items, but I had a great experience returning items. I bought seat cushions with tassel balls that hung off the sides and over my 3 months of owning them(and never using the dining room chairs) the balls kept falling off. I took them back very hesitantly because it had been so long and they gladly made the exchange. This warrants my business again in the future.

I was a tad bit disenchanted with this Kingwood Pier 1. Sure, there’s a lot of merchandise, but when it comes to sales stuff, either I come when everything’s already picked over, or they just don’t have as much to put on sale. Let’s face it – when their stuff goes on sale, their merchandise is priced crazy low. But I only found a few odds and ends, whereas at other Piers, I found myself renting a U-Haul for all the crap I bought. As far as regularly-priced merchandise, they’ve got a decent selection. They also started selling wine, which I thought was really interesting. That almost puts them in the same league as World Market. So, if it is a case of me getting there too late, then keep a hawk eye on those sale dates. Because apparently, I’m not the only one in the area that loves Pier 1’s sales. My suggestion?
