Texan Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Humble

Had my Dodge Avengers hood replaced because of rust under the paint. Two weeks later my hood comes in my windshield. Went to Texan Dodge they told me that they are not standing behind the work and told me I left the hood up. And I need to use my insurance company. Stay away bad business and people.

Horrible customer service, from losing keys, to not fixing vehicle, not returning phone calls, and completely inept management. The reason they have two listings on Unilocal for the same business is to divide up the bad reviews in an attempt to not look as bad as they are.

The WORST service I have ever experienced. My Jeep 1^st was first towed there on May 10^th. Picked it up a week later. The next day the engine light came on. It was taken back to their service department. Since May 10^th, I have had my Jeep for 2 days. And in ALL the time it was in their service department, they called me TWICE — once, after numerous calls to provide an update the last time was to SELL me a new Jeep. Are you kidding me? I can’t get a call back on the Jeep I own, but you have the time to call to sell me a new one. Messages were left with Service Manager and Dealership Manager and no call back. I would walk before I ever do business with Texan Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Humble again. My level of frustration is at an all time personal high — so much so I will be picking up my Jeep today «after hours» so I hope to deal with minimal incompetence. Good riddance!

Truly terrible. Please avoid this dealership at all costs. I brought in my brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee for a service and it was a mistake. They returned my car to me in awful condition. My leather steering wheel was ripped while my seats were covered in sweat and dirt. I refused to leave the lot until they brought in a manager. Well the «manager» was completely useless. He gave me the usual «we’ll take care of it and I’ll direct you to the GM personally». Well none of that happened. It’s been three weeks and my car still has this huge gash on the steering wheel. I don’t even know how that happened because all my service entailed was a mere oil change.
If you care about your car then avoid this place. The way they conduct business is completely unprofessional and they will not take care of your car.

1^st time I took my vehicle and the last. Went for a scheduled oil change and was there 2 hours. They bs’d me around whenever I asked is my car ready yet. Come to find out they lost my keys. No apologies from anyone. Horrible customer service don’t waste your time.

The service department has repeatedly failed in handling my vehicle. I cannot begin to express the amount of frustration this dealership has caused not only me but my entire family who purchased and tried to have their vehicles serviced there. It would take me days to type everything they have done wrong in the short 6 months I have owned my caravan. The phone service is horrible and rude. The service tech sigh and breathe heavily into the phone while telling me over and over to hold on hang on hold on. I paid for a pre paid package of oil changes and the forms are ore filled out saying they checked everything then you pick up the car and tell they did not check tire pressure or top off fluids. My van is in service again now and I get a call it needs gas. I brought it in yesterday with a quarter of a tank but that’s besides the point. They want approval to put gas. I say ok how much gas and how much is it per gallon. They respond with «I don’t know like five gallons or something» I say ok how much per gallon? They say“I don’t know like five bucks or something, we just need your approval” I am absolutely not giving you approval to charge me who knows how much money for who knows how much gas. Get your shit together and call me back with real numbers then we might get somewhere.

I’ve had my cummins there two times for warranty work provided by dodge even though I bought the truck at finchers Texas auto. So when my alternator went out many thousands of miles later, and killed my batteries I thought I’d go to them for replacement batteries due to their availability there and the fact that they were only a few bucks above the local parts houses. I dropped my batteries off to be checked in case they were still good and could be charged because they cost almost 200 $ a piece and diesels require two of them. I had a friend drive me there, passing up many other places that could also do this, out of loyalty. I dropped off the batteries and had to await a phone call on their diagnosis. A day and a half later I get ahold of them and all they had to say was that they tested good and they couldn’t reach me the next day even though they had my number and my girlfriends number, and since they didn’t reach me they disposed of the batteries. I dont know why you would dispose of batteries that just tested to be good, but i know people that work in dealership shops and i know things like this walk of in employees vehicles all the time. So I was basically strong armed into buying new batteries. I thought long and hard about contacting my attorney. But I wasn’t confident it would have gotten me anywhere. So I go back and fork out the 400 $, like an idiot, to pick up the new ones just so my truck would be alive again. Ill never be back again and I have since then warned everyone I know not to go there. Tomball dodge and finchers may be further for me and ones I know but I will go across town out of my way to not give them my money. Hell ill even drive someone across town in my truck just to make sure their competition gets the business.

Well, I was about to write a small novel that one of the Bronte sisters would approve of, saying how annoyed I am with this lot. But the previous reviews say it all. I could have easily gave it zero stars but they get one for knowing their address. Basic scenario, I need a cheap, reliable compact for going to work. So found a suitable one on their web site. After 3 emails and two phone calls to confirm the availability — all in the affirmative, I arrived to be told by Tyler that it had been sold and was «deal pending» for the last couple of days! But not surprisingly he had an exact same model but two and a half times more expensive — what a Richard Cranium.

This is as typical as you can get. When you think «car dealership» and «pushy sales» — this is it. I think they wrote the stereotype on car dealerships because they live it to a T.
They say they pride themselves on customer service, when they actually deliver very little of it. Don’t even think about getting a call back from ANY department unless you say «I want to buy this car»
I wouldn’t give this place my business ever again. The only reason I didn’t give them 1 star is because when I emailed the GM directly, my issue was addressed and solved quickly. Imagine that, having to go straight to to boss to get anything accomplished. Meh.

I am always amazed at how nice everyone is at Planet Dodge and yet how they take forever to get anything accomplished. 6 – 7 hours for an oil change and transmission flush is a bit excessive. The costs are always higher than quoted. The shuttle drivers are the exception to the establishment-​quick, kind and efficient. If you have weeks and extra cars at your disposal, than Planet Dodge is for you. If you enjoy your money and time, try someplace else.

Okay, since my first review, these guys have become a NIGHTMARE to work with. Watch out for Moses Medina in sales and Desmond Stirgus in finance! These guys now feel the urge to talk to me like I am scum since I asked for a little accountability about my vehicle’s ability to RUN, and not having any transportation provided to me as a new customer with major problems who is having his car serviced through them. According to these jerks, 2 ½ months is more than reasonable to expect a used vehicle to function from them.
To recap, I bought my 2005 Ford Mustang from Planet Dodge on February 19, 2011 (79 days ago), and it has since had two major problems that disallowed the car to run.
My current problem occurred on May 3^rd, 2011, as my car began to shake while I was driving it, and the «check engine» light became illuminated. I immediately pulled into a mechanic’s shop that eventually determined that the problem was due to low valve compression. He recommended that if I were under warranty, I should get it serviced under those terms because it would be a costly repair.
I remembered that my car was sold with a «Randall Reed’s Platinum Certified Plus 3 Year/100,000 Mile Limited Warranty», and intended to exercise this. When I contacted the dealership about this, I was rudely told that I did not have a warranty with them, and the vehicle was sold «As-​is». I was very surprised, but later found that I had been misled to believe that Planet Dodge was warranting my vehicle. Instead I discovered that a company named Ethos Group was the ones doing so. I was never offered any other extended warranty or service contract, so it was my understanding that my limited warranty WAS such a warranty, and thus implied warranties applied.
After reading info from the Federal Trade Commission, I then realized that a federally-​mandated «Buyers Guide» was never affixed to the vehicle when I was shown it, and I never signed anything to show that I was presented it at purchase. This is why I had never seen the term «as-​is». The dealership wants to claim that I have no implied warranty of merchantability with them, but it just isn’t true. This company cannot simply break federal law like this, and I have since reported them for investigation by the Federal Trade Commission whose representative told me that my claim was «very legitimate.» I also filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau, and intend to file with the state and local versions of the FTC.
