Texan GMC Buick

Recently bought a new 4×4 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. Everyone was great! Scott the finance manager went above and beyond to ensure I got the best deal and rate possible. Highly recommend and will do business with them again.

Long story short… My 3^rd-​row seat to my Yukon Denali was stolen in Dallas and I had to order a new one.
In the meantime, I used a loaner one because I needed a seat for my kids until my new one arrived. When I got my seat in, I needed to ship the loaner one back, but I couldn’t remove it because it was stuck. I stopped by this dealership and Lazaro helped me out. He was friendly and very, very fast.
Somehow, my kids got marinara sauce underneath the seat (gross lol) and he even wiped that up.
It seemed as though he was busy doing something else when I got to this location, but he took the time to help my clueless self out and I appreciate that to the fullest. I would definitely come back here.

I just had a horrible experience at the Texan GMC service department. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra that is less than a year old with about 30,000 miles on it. The AC stopped working. I brought it into be fixed since it is under warranty. Mind you, it’s July and in Texas (100+ degrees every day). They told me they wouldn’t be able to even look at the vehicle until Monday (6 days) and they had a waiting list of about 50 people. I asked if they could provide a rental car for me (which they have done in the past) and they basically laughed at me. They were not even close to customer friendly and we’re not willing to work with me. I can understand that they are busy but there is always a solution to a problem. Will never go there again to purchase a vehicle or service my car.

These people are cons. They didn’t have the keys to the truck I wanted and told me to come back tomorrow. I did and they already sold the truck. They kept showing me crappy trucks and said the ones I wanted were 35+ and I couldn’t afford them (which I later found out were listed for 27k on their website). After I turned down all the trucks and tried to walk out they offered me the trucks I wanted. This took 6 hours of arguing. Then when I went to start the paperwork I found out they lied about my trade in value and the price of the truck. When I went to walk out again, at 10 at night, they lowered the prices and I noticed they lowered the apr WHich leads me to believe they raised it higher than the loan company to make money off of me. Would never recommend these people. I ended up with a nice truck but the tried as hard as they could to screw me. Was there from 4:30pm to 11:30 at night. Insane!

I purchased a new 2015 4 door Canyon for my son. I worked with Johnnie Smith and Bert Brocker. Both were extremely helpful in locating the truck I wanted, and getting it at the price that I was shooting for. I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of this experience and would not hesitate to recommend Texas GMC to my family and friends. NO OTHER DEALER IN THE REGION CAME CLOSE TO THE PRICE AND SERVICE!

I just wonder if anybody has ever had a good experience from Texan. We signed for a vehicle Friday May 22 and that they had to do a dealer transfer for the color I wanted. I was told they had secured the vehicle. Monday I had not heard anything. After two phone calls to two different people they never returned my calls over a seven hour time frame. I went back to the dealership. Was finally told by the general manager that the vehicle has been sold by the other dealership and they were unable to find a comparable vehicle for me.
We go back to the lot and look at secondary alternatives on coloration etc. that are in stock. we reclose on a different vehicle on Monday the 25^th. I’m told it will be ready Tuesday to pick up. After being promised a call when it went into service for prep no call had been made to me. I made six calls to the dealership. None of my voicemails were returned and both times I talked to a live person I was told they had no information for me.
At 8:30 I get a text «trucks ready come get it». Not even the courtesy of a phone call for that. we drive to the dealership, my wife expresses her displeasure with the buying experience to the sales manager. he then pages my salesman who is in the process of walking me back to customer service to pick up my vehicle. my salesman comes back and says «we’re not sure we want to sell you a vehicle anymore». When asked why he replied that they would rather not make a sale rather than get a bad review. I replied that they earned the review honestly and I wasn’t making anything up.
I will give props to their customer relations person, Tara. she finally got me into the vehicle Tuesday night about 10 o’clock. She has worked with me to give me a couple of free add ons to my truck to make up for all the screw ups on the sales side.
As I told several people in the sales department, all they needed to do was have one person care enough about customer service to return a phone call or make a two minute phone call over the course of five days. Instead I end up making multiple calls to try to get information and close the deal when you would think the person making the sale and the commission would be the one trying to be proactive. and then to threaten to pull the deal at the 11^th hour I found very unprofessional.
For the sales and overall experience it’s definitely a one star at best. I do up the entire transaction to a two star thanks to the work and effort of Tara.

WORST dealership experience ever! I’ve been a proud GMC owner for 8 years. I took my vehicle here to be serviced for the first time since my move to Texas. Not only did they take 2 weeks to service my car after being quoted two days, the only updates I would get is their sales guys trying to buy my used vehicle! As if that wasn’t bad enough, the same alert lights for stabilitrack came on two moths later, after having being charged to fix this already, I called again to see what could be done. The service manager first argued with me saying he had no record of my vehicle, only to be corrected after I repeated my information, he said he would have to charge me again! Absolutely unbelievable at the lack of professionalism and service quality. If you’re a GMC owner, beware of the dealership and find one with the service oriented employees we expect from GMC. This dealership only gets one star because Unilocal won’t allow a lower rating.

Just drove off with 2015 GMC Canyon.
I can vouch for my salesman NICK THEILE because he was upfront and easy to deal, whatsoever. The other dealer’s salesman were pushy and kept wanting me to purchase a truck right then and there, pressured. I really don’t need a new car but I
really like the Canyon and wanted a truck
Shopping around, I already visited a couple Houston dealers previous to visiting Texan GMC. I actually had a white Canyon deal lined up at another dealer but this canyon was a red and I was debating between the two. I almost pulled the trigger that night before but checked online and GM’s website said they had one at Texan GM.
Contacted by another salesman from Texan GMC, I readily was going to meet him. However I was ushered as he was either busy or did not want to deal with me, either way it worked out better. Nick took care of numbers with his associate and sales manager and we agreed on a price on a new Canyon that was on the way here. Bummed that it Canyon was not here. I wait for Nick to call
Of course buying a new car is always good but it’s not always the best decision, I been contemplating a new car/​truck since February of last year so I was in no rush for a new car. Nick kept me updated on arrival of the Canyon through text message and the afternoon it arrived, he called to let me know right away. That night, still with dirt on the room, they haven’t even cleaned it up, there was still plastic everywhere, sitting in front parking lot of the dealer was my red Canyon.
Next day I came to finish up paperwork for my vehicle and along came my finance guy… This is where Texan GMC lost a star, they really deserved 5 stars.
UNACCEPTABLE — JOE GOMEZ is a fast talking and very through gentleman, very good salesperson. These type of people I (you) have to be cautious about. They want to get to know you, find common interest and make them very personable but BUYER BEWARE. I made a mistake of not actually read exactly what I was reading and going by what he told me until I came home afterwards. These are the vultures that luck and swoop to hunt and prey on people like me. My stupid and upfront person put too much trust and faith in people and this is where it back fires. He does SPECIAL FINANCE, that means he will eat you alive. Watch those apr, understand your credit and do your homework online before you homework. There is a reason he’s been there for 30 years and has an office next to the GM. Make sure you read all paperwork you sign on before you leave that office, they can stick it with you however they (finance) can. I am awaiting my check for my refund for something I didn’t sign up for or and wasn’t disclosed correctly, we shall leave it at that. And always get everything in writing or through email to cover your bases.
For me it’s about be honesty and principle, that’s what it comes to. But bottom line they have to make money and we just want to be happy and get a decent deal on our purchase. Woosah, let’s leave Mr Gomez comments as if you got nothing good to say let’s not say it.
Anyhoo, finally got the keys to the car, Nick introduces me to Tara I believe, she was awesome as well, she has a super fast motormouth and it’s just hilarious listening her explain everything. I bet by time she gets home she needs need to put a Band-​Aid n put her mouth to sleep. She was very thorough and explained the Onstar, center console, she even preset my xm radio, and steering wheel buttons. She was the fun to deal with n I finally drove off the lot.
Having Onstar shutting off the car is much better than some glass etch service the I was stuck with another «optional vehicle theft recovery etching» I didn’t need (probably the hour I was waiting for them to do it and stick me the bill with) so watch what you sign off on, especially the check mark boxes. This only set me back $ 151.00, so Im not going to complain about it, it’s when the service option is over $ 400.00 then it is my issue. These options might be beneficial to someone else, just not me as I wasn’t disclosed correctly, I was going to be paying for these services is my gripe.
Upon arrival at 3:08 and leaving at 5:11 I can say it was that bad of a time to pick up a new truck.
Overall I highly recommend Nick Theile (won’t be dissapointed with service with him), Tara (I believe) and the team at TEXAN GMC minus one particular («special» finance director) person. Definitely give them a shot at your business

Salesman was extremely unprofessional. Smoking a cigarette while greeting me in the lot… Constantly on his phone while I was asking him questions… Very arrogant and assumed I was a dumb ass and didn’t research the price and cars. He told me that deal that I wanted couldn’t get done, yet it got done 1 day later at another dealership. They really need to interview the salesman they hire cause this guy Luis came across slimey!

Scam artists! They refused to do anything to my car — even run a diagonstic — until they changed the oil. It wasn’t due for a change for another 1,000 miles. Then afterwards called me to tell me my timing chain needed replacing and that it was not covered by my extended warranty. I called my old dealership and they said that they repalced the chain in April 2013! Not only that, it IS COVERED by my extended warranty! Texan Buick GMC thought they could pull something over on me just because I am a «stupid» woman! When I told them I was taking it to my old dealer they started back peadaling furiously to cover up their scam. Do not bring your vehicle here for repairs!!!

Bought a new Acadia last week, and Bryan in sales was terrific — he was patient, understanding, funny and clearly knew his inventory and his vehicles, and made it his mission to find me a car at the right price, the right options and the right color. He spent time with me to get what I really wanted. Followed up by Jose in finance and Lionel in the delivery process, it was a smooth process. Have to say that when I met with Jose, he did everything he could to swiftly get through the process. Lionel was great, and I feel like I not only have a great car, but can operate it with a level of skill. Bryan kept my business, and because of he and the team you have a continuing Texan customer! He is a peach!

Easy to make a timely appointment. Fast, friendly service.
Please include more magazines in the waiting area. Only car brochures and a copy of golf digest! Mommies with no kids present waiting for service enjoy magazine reading time as well! :)

Our salesman Tom was very up front and easy to work with. We leased a 2013 GMC Acadia and they got us into the vehicle for over $ 100 less per month than Chevy on a lesser equipped Traverse. We love GMC’s and will go back to them for sure when we need to purchase again.

Bought my Sierra from Texan GMC and the salesman Billy was great. Service department was also good.
