You could eat breakfast somewhere else, but you definitely shouldn’t. This place is really nice.

Great hotel, the housekeeping staff were top notched, I had three in my room and they made sure that I had plenty of towels and coffee, also the room was very clean.
The free breakfast was first rate, I recommend the omelets.
I gave it four stars instead of five because the elevators are very slow, other then that no complaints

Really nice hotel. It’s old but it’s well kept. Free beer happy hour. Free breakfast too. Love it. People are great too. They even have enough equipment in the fitness room. Dumbells up to 50lb and two benches. Two treadmills and two ellipticals.

Hotel lobby and rooms are ok

Happy birthday to me happy birthday to me happy birthday dear extreme h happ birthday to me. I had an absolutely delightful time with my family and Embassy suites. It was nice to get away and be at a hotel with beautiful mountains surrounding. Service was decent. My only complaint worth writing about was the lifeguard. He was one of those overbearing kill joys. The kids couldn’t move in the pool without him saying no, no no no. He even tried to yell at my 3 year old who was 1 foot away from me… expressing she was going in the deep water. Dude! She is holding on to the side and I am NEXT to her! I totally appreciate the job of lifeguards but he was excessive AND the pool was freezing cold.
The bar and Barrista were AWESOME!!! Breakfast was really good. A large spread. The waffles were cooked to perfection! The kids will totally say that the best part of the hotel is the HUGE Coy fish! I’d have to give it to the bed and pillows!

We had our out of town guests stay here for our wedding and I was very pleased with the overall service. Our rehearsal dinner was also at the hotel and the food was very good and we had a lot of compliments on it from our guests! The daily complimentary cocktail hour was a definite perk for our out of town guests that were staying a few days before the wedding as well as the hot breakfast which guests can enjoy daily. The only disappointing situation we had was with the hotel bar for after hours. We paid to keep a bartender at the bar and there was also another wedding party that had paid to keep the bar open which made it acceptor ally crowded and guests had a hard time getting drinks. It would be nice when they know they’re having more than one wedding group come in if had set up another bar somewhere so it was easier for people to get drinks.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The atrium inside of the hotel is beautiful with ponds and fish as well as gorgeous plants. The breakfast is complimentary to your stay and it has everything hot and cold. You can dine down there or bring it back to your room. All accommodations were excellent. The rooms are large and have plenty of space.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotels for years. I always enjoy the beautiful scenery and the friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. A short drive to BAltimore and close to shopping and dining.

Very good breakfast and an okay dinner buffet. The rooms are every comfortable and contain 2 TVs and two twin beds and a pullout couch or a king bed and a pullout couch. It also includes a desk, sink, microwave and a coffee machine.

I can not give 5 stars because I did not stay at this hotel.
We were invited here for a work meeting, and stayed in a conference room for the most part of the day.
When I arrived it was to locate and get to, they have ample parking and easy to navigate parking lot.
When I walked in I had no idea where to go, so I approached the front desk and ask where my company’s meeting was.
The women at the desk was very polite and pleasant, she told me the room number and pointed me it the direction I needed to go.
When I walked it the conference room it was really nice, everything was well lit and laid out. They had coffees and teas displayed, and I must say it was actually quite good, I mean for hotel coffee.
When lunch was ready a women came in and let the host know we can come at any time. They had us set up in the dining room. Holy moly the dining area is beautiful, it’s like walking through a mini rain forest. An from what I could tell the rest of the hotel was beautiful or so it looked.
Though I didn’t stay in a hotel room I would say if I needed to ever stay in the area I would definitely give this place a try.

I have to stay #embassysuites Hunt Valley MD. I usually bear through the stay like cold breakfast on the buffet, queen instead of king on reservation but since I check in late there are no rooms left, dirty entry carpets, cops always at the entrance because people are always parking in the fire lane for regular examples. Today I reduced to moron level by staff opening door condecendingly and saying sometimes hotel doors only open up! After 2 trips from top floor to front desk and then having to call the front desk to find the maintenance guy… Just another wasted ½ hour of a road warrior to the wastebasket that we don’t get recuperated.
Teach your staff go do the right thing. Fix it then you don’t have pissed off customers like me. If the door doesn’t open down all the tine pit a sign on it that says open up! All the other doors my coworkers say open correctly. I am not stupid and will stay in the future at my own inconvenience at the Doubletree down the road. It’s a lax hotel thing I have noticed over the past 6 months I’ve stayed here.

If you find yourself in the northern Baltimore suburbs, or if you are even nearby in the tri-​state area and want to plan an event, I highly recommend this hotel. Given the very reasonable rates, you get way more than you would expect. The aesthetics are very nice with an indoor garden and fish pond. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. The restaurant does a great job with the menu choices and food preparation — the crab cakes are amazing. They have a free full breakfast buffet every morning. The rooms are all nice and updated (I’ve stayed in several). All-​in-​all, its hard to find a deal like this at these prices.

The Embassy Suites is gorgeous, very surprising for a hotel in Hunt Valley, not really close to the airport or this city, it is an off the beaten path little gem if you happen to be in the area.
Upon walking you notice that the lobby is huge! Straight ahead looks like a jungle! And you can see all the way up to the top floor from inside. With beautiful plants, waterfalls and paths that intertwine with little bistro table sets scattered throughout… not going to to lie I thought that there would be tropical birds flying around it was so beautiful… but they did have ginormous coy fish, so I guess that is tropical enough! You can even see them from the 8^th floor looking down from the indoor balcony.
The hotel bar is right there too (next to the jungle), it is in a little nook and was quiet large and welcoming, they even have Natty Boh on draft! Gotta love that, and they stayed open for us since we were with a large wedding party.
The pool is very small, the elevator was very very very very very very slow… and the suit was oddly laid out, but overall had great amenities, little kitchen in the living area, large bathroom, etc.
Lastly, the staff was very nice… I was stuck on that slow elevator with a gentleman that worked there and he was friendly and talkative and interested in my day and hoping that I enjoyed it. Also gotta love that!

Very accommodating love the rooms. Family fun package gave free Internet and dinner on the first night we arrived late so they gave it to us the second day for lunch
I was recovering from shoulder surgery so they allowed us to view rooms till we found one that would work for me.

We stayed here during Preakness week, and with the hotel less than a mile away from I-​83, it makes for fairly easy access to Pimlico. The surrounding neighborhood is nice enough; you’re very close to a shopping plaza that includes a grocery store, liquor store, and several chain restaurants (Carrabba’s, Outback Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen, etc.). It IS a little bit remote if you’re looking to spend serious time in downtown Baltimore, though; travel times range from 30 minutes when there isn’t traffic to more than an hour when there is.
As far as the room goes, the quality of the suites ranged from OK in some spots to very nice in others. I traveled with a group of people, and at least one mentioned their suite was considerably smaller than mine. I didn’t see his room, and I had no complaints about mine, but that’s food for thought.
There are some other perks to note. Happy hour features free drinks, and the complimentary breakfast isn’t bad, either. We worked a lot, so we weren’t at the hotel a ton, but this place definitely served its purpose.

So after an almost three year hiatus we recently made our return to this Embassy and while some of the good things are still good, the bad that I mentioned prior has not gotten any better and in fact some things got worse.
Still Good: Check in was fast and efficient and our room was up high which provided us with a decent view of the area. The staff we encountered overall were friendly although particularly at breakfast there simply weren’t enough of them which caused issues that I’ll get to.
Not So Good: There was a large group in house that the hotel from a breakfast standpoint was clearly not staffed for and on morning one of our stay we got to breakfast around 25 minutes after the start time to find a line about ten deep waiting for omelets while there were no plates anywhere. We opted not to wait for anything made to order as that would have taken quite a while and it took flagging down two employees to get more plates brought out.
The premade breakfast food of pancakes, sausage links, scrambled eggs and potatoes were alright but obviously mass produced stuff heated up that was previously frozen is only so good. On morning two the issue with the plates was solved but the line for the made to order food was still overly long.
Bad: Housekeeping all the way. When we check in it’s already after ten so obviously it was time for bed. We go to look for the bedding for the pullout sofabed only to find that the sheet is already on the bed yet it’s the wrong size (king size sheet) and the pillow, top sheet plus the blanket are MIA. We call and the stuff is brought up… a good 25 – 30 minutes later.
What I guess I should have also noticed at the time was that in the bathroom there was only one bath towel that was hanging on the towel rack. There is a small cubby hole next to the toilet where the other two towels are supposed to be but that was empty. Another call and another 20 – 25 minutes until that was delivered the next morning.
Overall the location is great being right by 83, the light rail and a shopping complex but what’s not so great is only having one guy doing the made to order food at breakfast (I’ve seen a few other Embassy properties have two on busy weekends so it can be done), the rock hard sofa bed mattress and whomever last cleaned the room not fully doing their job plus the person who is supposed to inspect that room also didn’t do theirs.
Don’t get me wrong in that I’m sure we’ll still come back but I don’t hold this place in quite the same regard as I did prior and in the future I will look elsewhere before coming back here blindly.

Love this place. Decided to try it this year for our annual conference trip to Timonium.
Great front desk staff. So friendly and efficient.
Indoor swimming pool was a nice addition to the fitness center which mostly had ellipticals and weights.
The ambience of the breakfast area was wonderful. Huge plants, ponds, and fish. So beautiful. A complete breakfast buffet was FREE. Good strong coffee that was fresh. An on duty chef will cook your omelet to order. Multiple levels of seating in a semi-​jungle environment was very pleasing.
Due to each suite actually being separate rooms, an inner door keeps out all the noise. I was surprised to learn we shared a floor one of our nights with a lacrosse sports team. We never heard them.
What we really enjoyed was 2 televisions, the kitchenette area, and a real sofa.
Wi-​fi is pricey unless you’re a certain level of Hhonors. Not a real problem since I had brought along my own hotspot. Free wi-​fi in the lobby.
There was a manager’s reception with free wine and drinks and real snacks that was quite nice.
We did not stay for dinner in the Grille because it didn’t look as though it was a real restaurant. Odd to explain why we thought this. Lack of a greeting podium, no signage making it obvious, in a different location from breakfast.
Our room was extremely clean. Beds were okay. I found them too firm, but that’s normal.

Manager’s special (free happy hour) and free hot breakfast bonus. I love the Hunt Valley location. The pond of fish and the cozy seating area… smells and feels of relaxation. I spent my 5 year anniversary here and was greeted with bright smiles and a little joke. The room has the standard microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and big screen T V.
Why this location? Its near every thing. a short walk to Outback, Wegman’s, and a movie theater. And if you are a government employee use your ID for great discounts.

Decent Embassy Suites out in B-​More suburbia. Stayed here on two separate trips and would definitely book here again if I was in the area. Typical ES set up, flat screen tvs, free breakfast and manager’s reception. Small gym that was a little too out in plain view for my liking. Painfully slow elevators. But decent price, nice staff, lots of close dining options as hotel dining was mediocre at best.
