History

Established in 2004.

Igor Szczerba, president of Home Trimwork, is a third-​generation carpenter and trimwork specialist who focuses on delivering old-​world craftsmanship in his firm’s remodeling projects. His business is recognized for its attention to flawless detail. In fact, his crew of talented designers, craftsmen and painters have been recognized by the National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI) as 2011 Contractor of the Year for Best Interior Specialty.

Business Owner

Igor Szczerba learned the skills of expert craftsmanship from his father

and grandfather, Ukrainian immigrants who instilled an expectation of

quality in him from a young age. As he began working for builders,

designers and homeowners in the Philadelphia suburbs, he quickly

recognized the essential need for developing a thoughtful design from the

outset that would allow a home’s inherent style to flow throughout the

dwelling. He soon became recognized for this skill, as well as his

excellent artistry, building a reputation for uniqueness, innovation and

distinction. Over the years, as demand for his skills grew, he assembled a

team of master craftsman who shared his principles to help him deliver the

quality workmanship and detail his clients have come to expect.
